So, I didn't think my cat was using this. I thought the water was just evaporating. Boy, was I wrong! It came time to clean it up and change the filter so I just unplugged it and let it sit until I got around to it that day. I have dogs so there's always a fresh water bowl down. My cat's fountain is kept up on a shelf by her food where the dogs can't get to it. Anyway, my cat came in from the yard and was alarmed to find that her very special fountain was "broken." At first she sat staring at it, then started batting at the dry spigot, then staring at me wide-eyed and protesting. I grabbed it and serviced it while she supervised and continued protesting. Could not get it up and running fast enough. She was pacing her shelf. The relief on her face when I plugged it back in and the water began running again was priceless. Since then, I regularly see her at her fountain and I now clean it while she's out catting around in the yard so we don't have any more traumatic episodes. Sheesh! I think it's easy enough to use and I like the size of it. The window in the basin is backlit, so it's easy to tell where the water level is at and adding water is a breeze. It comes with a brush to clean the spigot and that part comes off of the lid, so I think cleaning it isn't too terribly tough. Plus, the filters are supposed to last for four weeks, so it's doable. It's very quiet except if the water gets too low, and is well made. I definitely recommend this and may buy another one for my dogs.

I received this pet fountain quickly, it was very easy to put together adn I also purchased the package of extra filters which also arrived fast. I had another pet fountain that I had used for years and it finally stopped working. I decided to go with something a little different because the old fountain was a little difficult to clean. This one so far is working great, it looks like it's going to be much easier to clean (yay) and it is so very quiet. Would fully recommend!

Needed to upgrade my previous plastic fountain. This one looks so much nicer and is easier to deep clean. my previous one didn’t allow me to clean the pump where the water was dispensing from. The flow of the water is very good, once the water reaches a low level then the flow does die down. it is very easy to use and remove part to go ahead and clean. It feels very durable, my cants cant slide it around when they’re bored anymore.10/10 i think its worth the money

We had a cheap fountain we picked up at a store and were overall not happy with it. So when it died less than a year later, we looked for a solid replacement. This one looked nice and we snagged it, and after we were sure our cats were using it, got a 2nd one to replace an old style upside down water bowl. I've now had both for over a month. Been very happy with it.Pros:- All metal design is both durable, easy to clean, and doesn't collect pet hair and build up like our old plastic one did.- Fountain/pump output is customizable. You can remove the fountain and let it just bubble up, or you can adjust the fountain a bit by raising or lowering how far it is in the device to adjust how the water comes out.- Quiet. Once the motor is submerged, you can't hear the motor, and all you'll hear is a gentile water flow. If you find that calming, great. If not, you can adjust the top fountain spout a bit and change the noise level a bit depending on where the spout of water hits. I'm noise sensitive when I sleep, and one of these is just 6 feet away from my head, and I've gotten it quiet enough I don't notice the water flow.- Pleasant noise - IF you like the sound of flowing water like on a fountain or creek, then the default noise is very reminiscent of a bubbling creak or gentile fountain. You can minimize this if you want, or if you enjoy it, there's no need and you can just let it flow and enjoy the peaceful sounds.- Convenient window to make it easy to see where the water level is.- Smart filter to keep hair out of the motor as well as to filter the water. The filter, even if not used, goes though a cage that should help also keep hair out of the motor. Replacements are easy to install for both the motor filter, and the water charcoal filter.- Top drinking area is great, raised for healthy drinking angles, and overflows into the container, allowing you to fill the device quickly if you want with little risk of spilling, as overflow over the top still goes into the reservoir.- USB powered motor gives you some extra flexability in where you can plug this in. The adapter works fine, but with a proliferation of USB plugs in homes, you may not need the adapter.- The easy to view level window is nice, and the light makes it easy to see.Cons (Some of these are quite personal to be fair):- I wish the cable for the motor was handled a bit better. Because it's mostly loose, you have to make sure it's in the right spot when you put the top on or else it won't sit in the reservoir properly. Not a major issue, but having a clip on the back to guide it though would solve this easily.- Somewhat related, I wish the cable was shorter with an extension adapter instead of just a long cable. While not a huge problem, it means unplugging the fountain could be problematic if you run the cable behind something to hide it and thus have to move furnature or rerun the wire every time you want to unplug it and clean the top.- Related to the above complaint, the ability to turn off the fountain without unplugging it would be appreciated. If I just want to check something under the fountain, or turn it off for a moment, I can't.- Semi-related to the above, I would love to be able to turn off the light for the fill level. It's not a major issue, but I'm very light sensitive and one fountain is in my bedroom, and the blue light bothers me sometimes.- Fountain motor looks permanently attached to the top. This means if I want to clean the top, I have to deal with the motor and unplug the device. Not a major issue, particularly because it's not like getting the motor wet is a problem while cleaning, but it is kinda annoying. Now it's possible there is a way to detach it, and I just haven't figured it out yet, but that means it's not easy or obvious.So, overall, I have lots of positive comments on this, and very few negative ones. And most of my negitive ones are very nitpicky to me, and may not be issues at all for some people. Is this the best fountain out there? I can't say that, as I haven't used many. But is this a good high quality fountain? Absolutely. I own 2, and if we needed a 3rd, I'd not hesitate to get a 3rd.Update: Almost immediately after I posted this, I went to clean one of the fountains, and it stopped working. It was lighting up, but not pumping. After reaching out to the company, they asked me to clean the pump first and sent me a great video on how to clean the pump. I didn't expect it to help as the filters had done their job of keeping out hair, but sure enough with less than 2 minutes of cleaning work (it's super simple to clean, and the motor is a magnetic propeller, so you can remove it and clean all around the propeller), the pump was back to full force. I also got the response less than 24 hours after I sent the request for help, so they were quick to help and provided a very useful walk though.So, if you find you have an issue where the pump stops, particularly if the light still does, clean out the motor, and you should be back in business.

Functions as intended. I recommend getting multiple filters at the time of purchase since they are a bit different and I couldn't find a deal after. The stainless steel does make it nice to clean that part of it... but when you consider the plastic components, It will still suffer from the problems of many other fountains. This one may take longer before having those cleaning issues but they will still be apparent after some time. So either replacing a cheaper fountain more often or getting your pet to drink from a more standard bowl might be the best option. This may work well if you clean the whole thing every 3 - 4 days... I find a normal bown way easier to keep clean and fresh or if I really want some filter and running water... a cheaper easier to replace fountain is best so the hard-to-reach places can't become nasty.

My cat loves it!
It’s a little higher than our previous fountain and I think she likes that. She took right to it. It’s quiet and easy to clean. Because it’s stainless steel and no light exposure there’s no constantly checking for any green forming in the reservoir edges. Very easy to change filters as well.
