This makes a good cup of espress and steams milk well. I can't believe how fast it heats up and brews.I like the water tank, so I don't have to add water every time. There was an issue with my first maker, but i contacted the manufacturer and they took care of it right away. Very good service.This is a very good machine, especially for the price.

I purchased this about three weeks ago as my first espresso machine & knew given the price point that it would be a gamble, and I certainly do feel like I've lost. I have yet to have a single cup of coffee, despite having been in contact with support and receiving instructions and YouTube videos in an attempt to break what is seemingly the world's most stubborn air lock. I have used the original instructions, the specific support instructions, a turkey baster, a plastic bag, and a whole lot of profanity in my efforts for caffeine. I like to think I'm a reasonably intelligent person, but this machine has me sitting on the floor of my kitchen tearing my hair out.The steam wand won't work, the espresso won't work, the pressure can't reach a functional point, and in attempting to repeatedly cycle through the process for trial & error, the indicators kept flashing (indicating priming) for several minutes without ever being 'ready' = can't try anything. I am stuck!I understand air in the tubing is a common issue, but the effort I have had to put in (and still no coffee!) is simply unreasonable & not worth the price, let alone the labor. Strongly recommend if you're going to treat yourself to an espresso machine, just commit to the ones with a decent reputation & skip whatever this mess is.

This is my second review of this espresso machine. In mt first review I said that I felt the portafilter was too difficult for me, which it was. But I have learned to always keep it locked into the machine after i have cleaned it. It is now much easier to insert and remove. Also, after much practice I am able to make excellent frothy milk to add to my espresso. I love, love this machine!!
4.0 out of 5 stars Completely Broken after 5 months, no customer service response.
Worked fine for about five months. After five months, light flashes endlessly, despite steam knob being turned off. Tried to contact ihomekee on Bolo, email, and Facebook and no response. Look I understand these things don’t last forever but five months and then I can’t even get a response from the company that made it? This was a birthday gift from my parents and it didn’t even make it to my next birthday. Frustrating to say the least. If they end up responding and either fixing the machine or replacing it, I’ll update my review.Update: iHomeKee responded on Facebook and replaced the machine within 48 hours. I recommend this form of contact with them and I appreciate the swift replacement. One star down simply because it broke.

I bought this as a gift and it stopped working after a few months. To start off, it was so difficult to operate despite reading the directions. My boyfriend and I spent so long trying to figure it out and when we finally got the hang of it, it stopped working. Really wish it worked because it is cute.

After about 11 months this no longer works. In the beginning it was difficult to use, directions were not clear, you have to clean it thoroughly after every cup or it gets clogged and won’t steam the milk. This machine was difficult from the beginning and now no longer works. Shoots water while it’s off & when turned on starts pouring water out continuously. Have to unplug from the outlet but can no longer even use it. I wanted to love it as my first machine. I do use this daily multiple times a day between me and the kids. I would not recommend. Even for the price! The picture is of it pouring water out. I just cleaned the mess. I should have kept it to show a picture but not making another cup to prove it but of i do I’ll edit this review with that picture.

Wanted to send my daughter a surprise at college to encourage her to make her own espresso drinks and, given that it was for her dorm I had some criteria which this machine met. First off, I wanted something other than black and stainless that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I also wanted something with a small footprint. Voila! This machine was the answer. It also has a water reserve tank so it doesn't need to be filled very often. No, it doesn't grind the beans but it's not a $500 machine so it does what it is supposed to do...brew coffee and steam milk and so far she's very happy with it.

I love it ! Absolutely awesome for exactly what I wanted. An affordable way to make fresh espresso without having to constantly buy pods or k cups. The machine works well but learn to use it properly the first time. It’s simple if you read instructions.
