This plane is fantastic for the price. Fairly durable and on the easy side to learn. Best of all, you actually don't have to be proficient to start. I've tried other products and as you're learning to fly them you're destroying them. This plane allows you to learn to fly and still get to fly it after you've figured it out. I will say don't bother putting the landing gear on. None of the RC planes seems to have working landing gear. A hand thrown takeoff is fine and just land it in the grass and you'll be ok. The batteries life in flight also impressed me. I get 15-20 minutes per battery and it comes with 2. I got my plane for $50.00 and I couldn't be more impressed. The downside was how Bolo delivered. I've reached out with my great disappointment regarding that. They just slapped an address sticker on the actual plane box and delivered it that way. No packaging or secure box to protect it from the elements or privacy. How ridiculous! A porch pirate could have easily swung by and boosted my nice plane. Do better Bolo! 5 stars for the product and 0 stars for Bolo.

My son promptly crashed the plane into some concrete only a few minutes after receiving it and damaged one of the motors. I contacted the company and asked if they could send us a new motor, as it looked fairly simple to replace, and they are sending me a whole new plane! Impressive customer service! I will try to give an update on the performance of the plane after we have actually spent some time flying it.
4.0 out of 5 stars Deerc galaxy ship(amphibious aircraft)
This is a new take on the old airhogs storm launcher that everyone loved in the mid 2000s...but smaller. It has a surprising amount of power for 3.7v(1s) and flies quite well in calm conditions. It can handle some wind with experienced flyers but does have a tendency to rock in a breeze. The dual rates on the TX are a nice touch but high rates are a must when flying. The built In gyro system does a good job of keeping the craft in a stable attitude but can also be quite intrusive in some aspects of the flight characteristics as it won't allow you do loops, etc but it is very fun to fly in high alpha(stalled). One thing to be careful of is it has a limited range and gets out of range quick if your not careful, also I feel the supplied batteries could be improved with a higher c rating because they get worked pretty hard. The jst connector is great because there's a wide variety of batteries that are better suited and will fit right in the plane, like the urgenex 1s 850 and ovonics 1s 850. Noticeable improvement of punch and flight times. One thing I did notice is it could use some increased elevator authority so I did move the control linkage to the outer hole of the servo horn and it gave the craft much more response. All in all this is a fun little craft for novices and experienced rc'ers alike and is a good platform for deerc to improve it even more. A bigger, brushless version would a big hit!
1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing Experience with This Remote-Controlled Plane
I regret to say that this remote-controlled plane did not meet expectations. Despite several attempts to get it airborne, it never successfully took flight. I even tried purchasing new batteries, but that proved to be a waste of money and time. Overall, this has been one of the worst purchases I’ve made on Bolo. I’d recommend looking for other options if you’re considering a similar product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Styrofoam body, very light, watch out for the wind
I can't leave too much of a review as I didn't have it long. It is very light as it's made of Styrofoam. It comes completely assembled and floated just fine. Unfortunately for me as soon as it took lift it just got carried away in the wind and I lost it immediately. Winds were maybe 7-9mph, so be careful in any wind conditions. Quickest way I've lost $60 in a while.
