I read several reviews before purchasing this bed before our new mattress arrived. I'm a petite middle-aged woman (under 5 ft, about 116 lbs and in my 60s) and I put it together by myself. Yes, it took me several hours, like 5-6 hours but I had to take a lot of breaks. Yes, this bed is really heavy. The delivery fellow left it on the front steps and I dragged it inside. It's about 100 lbs but well packaged. There is a minor ding in the headboard, but it's barely noticeable unless you really look for it. Kudos to the manufacturer for clear and fairly precise directions, starting with making sure all parts are there. Every part was wrapped and labeled and I could match them to the diagrams in the instruction manual. At one point toward the end, the center support didn't reach the footboard, and I reread the description where it says to check to make sure everything is facing the right way. I had the headboard backward! Easy fix. The only part I had trouble with was installing the support bars where the plugs should snug the end pieces in place. I have two bars where I couldn't make that happen. Still, the bed feels pretty sturdy. My husband (he was away for the installation) and I slept on it and it didn't fall down so I put it together okay! My only complaint (besides the difficult support bar end caps) is a minor design one: the center leg on the sides of the frame are flush with the frame instead of being inset, which means I do bump into it while adjusting the bedding, etc. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this bed so far.

It just so happened that my previous bed fell apart and I had this bed frame in my cart for several months but at its original price. As luck would have it, it was discounted when I needed a new bed frame.The assembly was beyond super easy. As I was putting it together I could tell that it was going to be sturdy. My son is under the bed for fun but it goes to show how much potential storage space that’s given. The labeling of each piece help a lot. Everything aligned perfectly. I did have a little trouble pushing the head side into the foot side but I slammed it against the wall and it eventually slid in.Get the bed. I personally feel like the price should be raised because of the quality. But get it while it’s good.

This is a project if you are doing this by yourself so pack your patience-It took me 2 hours to complete. You will need a hammer, a knife or razor, and small footstool or something to help prop the metal bars. The mini tool kit is included for assembly.I’d recommend reading the instructions first and familiarizing yourself with the part numbers- they’re clearly marked. I assembled some parts incorrectly bc instruction's pictures are very small and difficult to read (even with readers).I did have a problem with 2 metal bars that did not fit properly, so I had to hammer the unfinished edge in to fit the pieces.The frame is well built and very sturdy. The mahogany veneer color is a beautiful choice.I love it!
4.0 out of 5 stars Looks good, assembly was more difficult than it should be.
Some of the plastic piece endings that go on the bottom were caved in. Also, there is a part in the directions where you are supposed to fold the front and back end onto each other with the beams going into each other. This was extremely difficult, and I ended up just taking them apart, putting the rods into each other. Then screwing the beam onto the other side. At the time I was really angry, but once you get it all together it really does look nice. I really don't know what they were thinking putting the directions like that. It says you need to line up both beams and put them into each other, they were a little twisted on both sides. The way I ended up doing it was so much easier.

I bought and received this Sha Cerlin metal queen sized bed frame at the same time I purchased a new queen sized bed so I had two new products to work with and test out at the same time. I've waited a month or so before posting my review to make sure there were no problems and I have to say I'm 100% satisfied with this item. The assembly instructions were clear and I put it together by myself in about an hour. It's solid and sturdy, holds my mattress firmly and provides some great storage space with 12" clearance underneath. No problems, no complaints and solid as a rock. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid no-frills mattress frame.

This is a great bed frame, especially for the price. All the parts were there. It is sturdy. It is quiet. It looks nice. It took me less than an hour to build.I did however pull away one of the "anchors" on one of the cross members by over tightening It. I thought the tighter the better. The more quite and sturdy my bed would be but there really is no need to be heavy handed.Overall I am very pleased with this frame.

This bed doesn’t screech when you’re sitting down turning in your bed or standing up. It’s very quiet and it’s very cozy for any kind of mattress. It looks really good in my family members room. It comes with pieces that are sturdy that you can easily break down if you have to move or anything. The box was huge, but it was worth getting help to carry it. You will need two people. It looks like a more expensive brand honestly.

I wasn’t prepared for how heavy this box was when it arrived lol while they give you tools to do it by hand I do really recommend using a drill if you have one. Didn’t take me very long to put it together and the instructions were very easy to follow (coming from someone who has to usually reread the page 5 times) it’s holding up really well and I can still keep stuff underneath. The overall look is very sleek as well. Not disappointed in the least.
