Julia Reesor has a beautiful and vulnerable narrative. Her story is unique, but also so relatable. Her thoughts and emotions are felt, and they are heard. She gives a voice to those that may have or may be struggling with overcoming trauma and grief and reminds us that it’s not a simple path, but a long self exploration to healing. Highly recommend. This book is definitely not readable without a tissue box beside you.It’s deeply beautiful and very personal, I left so many tears on the pages but the healing process is hard and this book may hurt every corner but makes you notice you’re not alone.Definitely recommend it to everyone!

This book is heartbreaking but yet so touching
I have finished reading it and for me most of my childhood memories came back so a TW would have been nice. But other than that i loved every poem and it felt like i was reading how my childhood and teenage years were, it broke my heart to feel how deep my wounds are and yet it also touched me by how those bad things can be replaced with good things and love.
Beautiful, comforting quick read
This book helps me picking up reading in times it’s really hard. The book makes me feel understand and helps me grieve.
