This clock is actually so great. Very substantial and solid - it’s heavy. Paint job is even and seems durable. Very well packaged in shipping. There is a thin plastic cover to peel off the face before use - be careful as you’ll need to be gentle when pulling it off around the clock’s hands. Totally eye catching and a nice upgrade in my mid-century living room.

The 23 inches is the whole clock, from starburst to starburst. The pictures make it seem like it’s the clock itself that’s 23 inches not including the metal parts. Clock is decent quality.

We recently bought a mid-century modern split-level home and felt like we needed something over our doorway in the entry. We've been updating hardware in the house to be gold but still maintain a mid-century feel that is true to the feel of the home. The gold finish on this clock matches perfectly and truly is an accent piece to our home. Functionally, it keeps time well and runs silently.

This was just what I was looking for…a vintage sunburst clock that doesn’t tick. It’s very sturdy, the metal is solid and has a good weight to it. Came packaged well but be careful taking the styrofoam off the face, I was excited and bent one of the arms. Very pleased with it.

Clock not only looks really pleasant but it is silent, no ticking or anything. Quarter hour numbers large enough to see.Good value for money.
