    The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Waykar dehumidifier for my basement, and it’s been a fantastic investment! Right out of the box, it was easy to set up, and the sleek, modern design fits well without taking up too much space. My basement is about 4500 sq ft, and this unit has been very effective at keeping the humidity down. Within just a day or two, I noticed a significant drop in moisture and the air feels fresher.One of the standout features is the continuous drain option. This saves me from emptying the tank daily, which is a huge plus. The unit also has a large water tank, so if I need to use it without the drain, I don’t have to empty it constantly. It’s pretty quiet too, making it easy to live with even when it’s running non-stop in a big space.I also appreciate the intelligent control settings. The auto shut-off and adjustable humidity settings are convenient, allowing me to set my preferred humidity level and let the machine handle the rest. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my Waykar dehumidifier—it’s reliable, efficient, and has helped transform my basement into a more comfortable space!

    This dehumidifier has completely changed my life around. It has been extremely easy to use and has become such a simple part of our routine that it's difficult to live life without it. With a lot of humidity always in our house, it's a power sucker to have the AC constantly turned down to keep us from sweating, and cost us more than we would like, so I decided for one summer to buy this dehumidifier and give it a shot. Within just a few hours I could tell such a massive different in the air quality that we were able to turn our AC OFF with no issue whatsoever. Our power bill dropped sharply and we even sleep loads better thanks to it helping with the moisture in the air. My partner has a hard time sleeping in very moist climates as it causes him to get sick, so he was extremely happy to get a good nights rest for the first time in his life lol. It's a little noisy on the fast setting but on slow you barely notice it and works just as effectively. It sounds and almost feels like a normal fan from the air coming out of the sides. It's also very easy to push around, even on carpeted floors. You never have to pick it up.Unfortunately after a year and a half our lovely new member of the family broke when the coolant pipe ruptured, and after a week of testing to see if we could fix it, was no longer operational. So, I reached out to their customer service to see if there was any way we could troubleshoot it from their side and if there was any possibility we could get a new one sent to us, as I wasn't sure if our warranty was still effective. They are easily one of the BEST customer support teams I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Sadie was extremely helpful in helping troubleshoot the issue to see if there was anything we could do, and even with the warranty being expired was willing to help send a brand new one so we could continue using their products. I couldn't be anymore grateful with the way that they handled this situation for me and my partner, and will definitely be looking forward to buying more of their products in the future if I need another one, or even a bigger one! Thank you guys so much!!!

    Works perfect. It works as mentioned in the description if you have a drain nearby, it will be better to use your hose for it. Keeps the humidity in the selected range. It is silent and efficient.

    I purchased this dehumidifier for use in a small, clean room (roughly 140 square feet) and it worked fine for about 4 months Before it failed. It now removes almost no moisture from the air, blows cold damp air out and makes a rattling sound. I contacted support and was basically told that I could pay round-trip shipping to send it to California and, if they determined that it was faulty, they'd send me a new one or refund my money. Round trip shipping on something this size and weight is most of the cost of a new one, so it's not really an acceptable solution. Perhaps I got a bad unit but I can't really recommend it despite the fact that it looks nice and was quiet (until it wasn't).*Update 02 Aug 21:Angela from customer service was quick to address my problem and has offered to replace my defective unit under the 1 year warranty. I'll update this again when the replacement arrives.**Update 10 Aug 21:As promised by Angela, I received a warranty replacement with no need to send the defective unit back. I tested the new unit and it works. I'll cross my fingers that it lasts longer than the first one did. Angela's support was great but I'm leaving my review at 4 stars for few reasons:1. The amount of back and forth I had to do to get Waykar to honor the 1 year manufacturer's warranty was unacceptable and they only offered to replace the unit at their cost when I threatened a bad review.2. While the dehumidifier is stylish, compact and quiet, the tank is small and the manufacturer's claims regarding the amount of water it will pull out of the air (9 gallons) or the size of room it's suited to (4500 sq. ft.) are pretty dubious.3. Reliability, based on my experience as well as the number of other bad reviews, seems iffy at best. I don't know if there is a quality control issue and lots of bad units out there or if it's just not engineered very well. Regardless, Waykar definitely needs to investigate.

    J’ai acheté le déshumidificateur Waykar 80 «pints» modèle YDZ-80. Il a été commandé le 30 septembre et livré le 2 octobre. Bravo Bolo!!!!!. J’ai attendu au 3 octobre pour le mettre en marche pour m’assurer que le fluide caloporteur soit bien à sa place. Ce déshumidificateur remplace un vieux Sunbeam. Déjà en le déballant je m’aperçois que bien qu’il soit de la même taille, ce Waykar est au moins 30% moins lourd. Bravo Waykar!!!.Depuis qu’il a été mis en marche, l’appareil a réussi à abaisser le taux d’humidité de la maison (3500) pi2 de 66% à 49% en 3 jours et le maintenir entre 45% et 50% avec un minimum d’énergie. Quelle différence fait cet appareil «EnergyStar». Photo 1.Le panneau de contrôle rend l’appareil très simple à utiliser (photo 2). On peut même le faire fonctionner sur un horaire programmé pour être utilisé la nuit quand le coût de l’électricité est plus faible. Combiné avec la fonction arrêt-départ automatique quand le niveau d’humidité requis est atteint, on utilise une énergie minimale pour le maintien d’un taux d’humidité confortable.L’option d’un drainage continu de l’eau est aussi très «cool» (photo 3-4). Plus besoin de surveiller le niveau d’eau accumulé dans le bac et de le vider régulièrementDe plus, le filtre est très accessible pour le nettoyage (photo 5).Donc, jusqu’à maintenant je suis très satisfait du rendement de l’appareil.

    Après un été d'utilisation il ne fonctionnait plus. Nous nous en servons pour le sous-sol mais l'hiver pas besoin on chauffe au bois. J'ai rebranché l'appareille se printemps pour enlever l'humidité, après deux jour nous nous somme rendu compte qu'il ne faisait que du vent. Ma garantie est fini depuis avril, alors je trouve cela très dispendieux pour seulement que 4-5 mois d'utilisation... Il a même l'air d'un neuf... le filtre n'est même pas sale.J'ai contacter Waykar sur leur site via le chat. En 24 heures il m'ont envoyé un premier e-mail pour me poser quelque question et j'ai même envoyé des photos.Le lendemain je recevais un autre e-mail de leur part pour m'offrir des solutions.Vraiment très satisfaite du services.

    Although it came with a broken wheel (I purchased a used Bolo warehouse one to save a few), it works perfectly and the Waycar customer service was happy to provide me with a replacement easily. They replied quickly and their website was easy to navigate and make an inquiry. *In the photo I added googly eyes because I thought it would look cute*The product it’s self really works, I had it placed next to hanging laundry in a cold temperature room, and it was able to remove the moisture from the clothes within a few hours! That’s something I never expected such a slick and small humidifier to do. I really hope you guys get it too so you can appreciate the quality and sleek look of this product. I will be purchasing again and recommending to everyone.
