5.0 out of 5 stars Best pan ever!
Besides being pretty, this skillet is so easy to clean, no sticking, food cooks spectacularly in it, the lid fits well and it’s not shallow which is a bonus. Would love to have other individual pieces of this to purchase. Highly recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful and High Quality
This pan has been easy to use and clean in addition to being a beautiful addition on the stove. Conducts heat very efficiently so low heat settings work best. Nonstick is great and makes both cooking and clean up a snap. Love the see through lid.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Pan
I have to say this is a good looking pan for a great value! It’s fairly light weight, the lid fits well and the surface is non-stick! We’ve been using this pan in our house for about a month now and are now looking to buy the whole pan set.
4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
I really like these because they haven't stained with tomato sauce so far. The problem is the bottom center is higher than the sides and the oil or butter run down to the sides and the middle ingredients stick.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does not stick!!!!
Pan cooking chicken, hamburgers!!! They came out great!!
1.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality pan definitely go with name brand
I have used a 14 inch pan almost daily for years. Pans generally last me a year or so before the nonstick surface fails so I have gone through several brands. After trying a Tramontina ceramic 12 inch pan (which is amazing) I decided to purchase this Gotham Steal 14 inch ceramic pan. The first thing I noticed was the pan was incredibly light. The bottom of pan is very thin and bows upward in center (convex) so oil or melted butter just settles on the outer rim of pan. Due to the light thin base, the pan does not heat evenly and takes a lot of heat to keep hot. Lastly, the handle is flimsy and bends when you pick up pan with any food in it. I have not used it long enough to attest for the ceramic coatings durability but it appears to be thinner than Tramontina’s. I thought I was splurging when I made purchase but there are so many better pans for the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Just the right size
This pan is exactly what I had been looking for. It is only my husband and I and I don't need big heavy pans. I have arthritis and fibro and this pan is easy to handle. It is sturdy but light weight enough. It heats up evenly and is non stick. Cooks evenly and is a good price. I have a set of pans from this company and can attest to a great performing pan and set.
5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely non stick.
My husband and I are loving this skillet. Absolutely non stick without using oils or sprays. Very easy to clean. The handle is sturdy and stays cool when cooking. Has a very sturdy feel to it. Weighted, but not so much that it’s hard to lift. We will purchase other skillets , pans, sauce pans from this company.
Quite disappointed having read the positive reviews.
First the plus points: Well made/Very good non stick qualities/ Easy to clean/ Lightweight. And the not so good: I cooked several types of food, including bacon, sausages and diced chicken breast.Because ithe manufacturer does not recommend, the use of any oil or fats, and to avoid using high temperatues. I found it very difficult to cook anything evenly, without burning the parts of the food, which were in direct contact with the base of the pan. When I used the lid, it just extracted all the moisture/juices from the meat. The end result being, effectively boiling/poaching the food. The juices would eventually evaporate, bringing the strong chance of localised burning, as mentioned above.PS. If cooking with the lid on, the convected heat makes the lid handle very hot. Beware!!!
