I bought this after someone at my workplace showed me his, and I was impressed with the UV light, which is impressively powerful, especially for a multifunction light like this. The price is pretty high, and it's really fairly clunky to use overall, but it's still worth it for that UV light. I would have bought the Arkfeld UV that doesn't have the laser pointer, since I didn't really need that, but was disappointed to hear that the UV light on that is substantially weaker, so I went with this.Good stuff:- Build quality is more than fine. The body is well-formed and nicely-textured metal, the front window appears to be real glass, the button and selector switch feel good to use, and it looks nice. If you like to impress people with gadgets, you'll probably like this.- The white light has a good brightness range and beam profile. It's very soft at the edges and the color is very uniform. The angle is just about perfect for indoor use; it can reach across most rooms without issue, but doesn't feel too tight even up close. Battery life at the lower modes is great, making this an attractive reading light for camping trips.- The UV light, as mentioned above, is great. It appears to be genuinely 365 nm - that is, actually mostly invisible - and is very powerful, meaning that anything fluorescent will glow very brightly and be easy to spot. I've seen hidden stains and dust with this that were completely invisible under a cheap 395nm UV LED; it's the real deal.Bad stuff:- The proprietary magnetic charging connector thing is annoying. I'd much rather have had a plain old USB-C port. In this day and age, I don't have a lot of patience for having to keep yet more single-purpose cables in my backpack while traveling.- Switching between brightness levels on the white LED is confusing. You have to press and hold the button to step through the three upper levels, and the lowest level is only accessible by turning the light off and holding the button. I wish the brightness levels could have been additional positions on the rotating selector switch instead; that would have made way more sense.- The white light has a strobe mode. Why do they always have a strobe mode? It's activated by double-pressing the on-off button, so if you were trying to get a brief flash, chances are you'll get strobe instead.- It's hard to switch between white light and UV light without turning on the laser pointer (or turning the light off first). It may seem minor, but for a light styled like this, I feel like I should go harder on anything that looks like unprofessionalism. Nobody likes negligent discharge of a laser pointer, and the Arkfeld Pro kind of sets you up for it. Once again, I would really have rather had the Arkfeld UV, but I wasn't willing to settle for less UV power.- I've noticed a few instances that look like weird firmware instability. For example, sometimes, when I turn on the laser pointer, the white light will flash very brightly for a fraction of a second. I can't make it happen consistently to know what causes it, but nobody wants that happening when you're about to give a presentation in a dimly-lit room.Bottom line: This is a great light for you if you like cool-looking gadgets, spend most of your time in an office, and frequently need both a UV flashlight and a regular one at work. (If you think this is a rare use case, you might be right, but I have to admit that it does describe me pretty well.) In my case, I think my tastes tend to run a little less pretty and a little more rugged, so if you're not as much of an outdoor-adventures type of person, you might like it more than I do.

This is now definitely my EDC. About 1 month in.Form factor: It's built very well. It has a great weight to it in your hand. It's big enough that you won't fumble it. It's small enough that it's not much of a thought in your pocket. The clip is SUPER solid and tight. Works great on a hat too. The selector knob slides well and hasn't yet gotten scrapey or anything because of crap under it.Standard flashlight: VERY good. Coming from a 300 lumen streamlight, which I thought was very bright, this thing easily takes the cake. On turbo, it gets very hot and doesn't stay that bright for more than a few minutes, but it's wonderfully bright. You'd be hard pressed to say you really needed more from an EDC. I keep it on medium so I can quickly turn it on at a very acceptable lumen level.Green laser: I don't have a ton of use for a laser, but I've certainly found things to use it for. It's quite bright in anything other than direct sunlight and projects clearly for at least a half mile at night. My daughters love it and I use it to distract them while I brush their hair.UV light: I have no use for this, really, but have played with it a bit and it definitely does the trick as far as seeing spills that my naked eye would miss. Not incredibly bright, but that's not really the intention either.Battery life: totally insane. Really, really good. One of the first things I did was run the battery down. It took me a few days of running it when I could. I didn't use turbo at all. I ran it pretty darn hard though. Definitely harder than my real world scenario. When I charged it, it charged in under an hour to full from zero. That was about a month ago and it's still at 4 green lights (75+ percent) with my daily use.Overall, I love it. Can't imagine what would make it better.

I’m a stagehand. We tend to be obsessed with certain tools. Always looking for the perfect flashlight. Ok, don’t doesn’t do red light, BUT it fits perfect in my front pocket next to my Leatherman Skeletool. And the flashlight is bright as hell on turbo, and the moonlight mode is gentle enough that I don’t need red. But what really rocks are the Green Laser (which we use to point to things in the theatre, like “Hang a light there.) and when my GF are stargazing and it’s bright enough to point out stars. AND the UV light charges glow tape instantly. Mine is bright orange and I love the finish. The magnet on the back is constantly useful. Though I’d prefer it charged via usb c, the addition of a vulnerable port probably would reduce its durability, so the proprietary charger is ok. Besides so far I’ve gone three weeks of regular use without having to charge it.Pricey, but if you really use a flashlight every day and in your work, this one looks great, feels solid, and works very well. Also, READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS! The lock mode is confusing at first but makes sense once you understand it.
