Ability to connect to multiple devices, and the ergonomics of the keyboard are great features! Comes with one dongle for both the mouse and keyboard while still being able to use just a single devices, if wanted. The Customer support from ProtoArc is unmatched, they quickly resolved my issue within 24 hours.
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort
This is a nice quality keyboard. I would put it up against any Logitech I've owned. It is ergonomic and sturdy. The mouse has a nice weight to it and is very comfortable to use. No learning curve as I thought there would be due to the design, it was as simple as plug and play. The keyboard has a built in wrist rest that has just enough padding. It did take me about an hour to adjust to the key placement but I'm glad I didn't give up right out of the box. My fingers have not went numb once while typing since using this! The only thing I don't like is that it is rechargeable, not that it's a bad thing, just a personal choice. I like to know I can change a dead battery and keep going. With this I will need to remember to plug up for charging so I don't get in the position of not being able to work while waiting on some go juice.
4.0 out of 5 stars ergonomic "laptop" keys; pricey but sexy
If you're looking for an ergonomic keyboard with keys that feel like laptop keys, this keyboard is for you. Unfortunately, I was looking for Microsoft ergo keyboard replacements. So, while these keys felt nice and were quiet, I wanted the full size keys.Overall, I liked this keyboard. However, near the end of testing the right spacebar started to squeak. I apparently always space with my right thumb. I didn't realize that until now.I also felt this keyboard was a bit pricey compared to some of the others I tried, namely my first choice. But it sure does look nice. The mouse was OK but isn't really ergonomic. My first choice came with a nice ergo mouse.MEETION (1st): this one most closely resembles the MS ergo keyboards that I'm used to in terms of key size, layout, and keypress feel; comes with a nice ergo mouse that isn't too vertical like some; nice and quiet keypresses; nice priceProtoArc (2nd place): too laptop-y in key size/shape and keypress feel, for me; spacebar started to squeak sometimes near end of testing; pricey, but sexyX9 (3rd place): didn't lay flat with or without the feet extended; seemed to miss keypresses here and there; pretty good sound and feel of the keypressesPerixx (4th place): it was the most noisy and I didn't like the keypress feel; it was the only one with straight key rows instead of having a slight curve like the others do; I also didn't like the Home/End key group arrangement.I considered keeping this one as a backup until the spacebar squeak. Easy decision now.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse
Love, love, LOVE the mouse! Keyboard takes a while to get acclimated but, a week in and it feels really normal. Love the rechargeable batteries and it can be charged while using! So far, no connectivity issues. Only flaw is that there is only one color option. Great replacement for the now discontinued Microsoft set that I have used for years!
5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the price!
The media could not be loaded. This keyboard combo is very similar to a much more expensive name brand. There are a few minor differences, in my opinion, but this combo is worth the price. I use the name brand versions for work, and I’ve been using ProtoArc brand for a few weeks now at home.I’ll start with the keyboard. The biggest difference, in terms of ergonomics, is the height at the center. The ProtoArc does not have as much lift in the center, but not a show stopper. I noticed it a little bit while typing at first, but got used to it very quickly. The ProtoArc has feet adjusters in both front and back of the keyboard which help tune the correct position for your wrists. The keys are very quiet and feel solid when typing. Switching between devices using the dedicated buttons works seamlessly and reconnects really fast. I’ve been switching between a Windows laptop and iPad with no issues. The mouse is also very responsive and easy to switch between devices. Besides not having a side scroll wheel like its name Brad counter part, the only other major difference is the weight. The ProtoArc is lighter, but it does not feel cheap. It has a very solid well made feel to it. The mouse buttons are also very quiet, responsive and solid feeling.Overall, for the price, this combo is well worth it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love it.
Wanted something slim and modern. This fits the bill and was more impressed in person too. Presentation and packaging was impressive. Good buy!!
1.0 out of 5 stars OK While It Lasted, BUT It Lasted Less Than 4 Months
The keyboard was o.k. Had to charge it about every two or three days. Also, when it went into sleep mode, it was slow to waken so I'd end up having to retype the first two letters of the first word. But the key action was good and I loved the split ergonomic aspect. It helps my wrists and shoulders. But a couple of days ago, I had to retype vowels. Then the 'a' key acted like it was stuck. Then the battery didn't take a charge. Then, while using it plugged in to a USB port, it only typed consonants. There isn't a reset button, so I left it unplugged for a day with no change. I also turned it off for several hours with no change when I turned it back on.I'd only recommend this keyboard if you also buy a protection plan.
5.0 out of 5 stars I like it
It does its job but the keys are NOT quiet at all. That was important to me and 1/2 of the reason I suggested it along with it needing to be ergonomic.
As expected
Has been working perfectly for 2 months, good buy!
Very good
Worth the price
Decent keyboard, really nice layout and features. Got a bit squeaky.
I was really impressed when I first got this (Aug 3rd 2024; less than a month ago).Coming from a Microsoft Sculpt keyboard I adjusted quickly to the different shape and immediately loved having a numpad again (though, for ergo it has pros and cons as the mouse is farther out).Great media keys for both Mac and Windows. Really like having the lock button at top right -- very convenient.Overall, the keyboard has a great layout and design. The ergonomics were awesome. The mouse is very decent but coming from a Logitech Master 3S... nothing can compare. I'd say it's close but it isn't. You lose the thumb scroll wheel (which if you've never had, fine) and customization. But if I were comparing it to the MS Sculpt mouse... way better. Quiet clicks. Great. Four star mouse.I'm docking a star because as I type this I am irritated by the squeaky noise the keys have started to make. It also misses occasional keystrokes which... could be a 'me' problem as I'm a faster typer used to a slightly more tactile feel (the sculpt was hardly tactile, but moreso than this I think).I am picky. I see this as a budget keyboard that really over delivers at the price point. I tolerated the sculpt for years (having replaced it twice, using up 3 in total). I ended up with a Keychron Q14 Pro which is not something that should be used as a comparison for this.tl;dr?This is a nice keyboard at a terrific price point. The mouse is pretty great unless you're coming from something very high end like the Logitech MX Master 3s. The squeaky key thing was an annoyance to me, but probably not noticeable in an office environment that isn't otherwise silent. If you're looking for a great ergo setup with a good mouse, are interested in extra convenience of media buttons, and on a budget... this probably can't be beat.
Great deal
I arrived doubled-boxed. WOW! It paired in the instant by Bluetooth. The kyboard's features are awesome. The mouse's dpi, truly enjoying it.
Without a doubt, the best keyboard/mouse combo I've ever used.
I have ordered a lot of Bolo stuff in the past 2 years. Like A LOT! I am prepared to say, this is likely my favourite item so far. It’s one of those “you never knew you needed it till you tried it” type items. Yup, the price point is a bit steep for a keyboard and mouse combo. Let me tell you, it’s worth every penny.Unboxing: You can tell right away that this is high end stuff. It’s packaged in a really slick black box that includes a personal note from the designer. The kit comes with they keyboard, the mouse, a USB-C charge cord, the USB dongle (it’s on the back of the keyboard if you’re looking for it) and all the literature you’ll need to get up and running. Plus, as a bonus, the literature is actually written in understandable English. The first thing I did was plug in the mouse and keyboard and fully charged them. They were shipped partially charged but I always like to make sure the items are fully charged before I start evaluating them. There are multiple ways to hook this combo up to your computer. You can link them individually using Bluetooth, or you can go the easy route and just use the dongle. Since I’m using this keyboard/mouse combo on my home desktop I went the dongle route. I just plugged the little thing-a-ma-jig (technical term) into an empty USB slot and bam! We were up and running. No set up, no drivers. It just works. And work it does…The first thing you have to get used to is the split keyboard. If you’ve never used one before it’s going to feel weird. You will make a lot of typing mistakes while your fingers get used to the new spacing. Don’t worry, they will. It only took about half an hour of typing before I realized that I wasn’t making mistakes anymore. It feels far more natural than a standard keyboard once you get used to it. I found I could definitely type faster than I could on a standard keyboard. I love the number pad. I never realized how much I missed that from my old mechanical clickity clack keyboard. The media controls right in the middle of the board are a really nice touch. The wrist rest just feel so good. It eliminates wrist and arm fatigue. Honestly, the layout just seems so well thought out. The keys are responsive and have a very satisfying tactile feel. Without a doubt, the best keyboard I have ever laid my fingers on. That statement sounds weird. Oh well, it’s true! Now let’s talk about the mouse. One thing that has always annoyed me about most mice (mice? mouses?) is the “click” sounds they make. When you’re working on a particularly “click heavy” page and your room is quiet it becomes annoying quickly. This mouse is virtually silent. The left button, right button and scroll wheel all work silently. I love it! The feel is fantastic. It just conforms to the contours of your hand. Much like the keyboard, obviously a lot of thought was put into the ergonomic design of the is device. DPI is adjustable so you can set it up to move as quickly or as slowly as you like. I’ll be honest, I still haven’t figured out what all the buttons do. All I know is that this (much like the keyboard) is the best feeling computer input device I’ve ever used.In re-reading this review I have realized that I sound like I’m shilling for the company. I assure you, I’m not. I am just really, really satisfied with this product. Finally I’ve found something that I’m super happy with. I’m not going to lie, there is a lot of junk out there. This is not that. If you’re looking for a top-quality keyboard and mouse combo and you don’t mind spending a bit more to get it, then stop looking. It’s all right here. I absolutely recommend this product.
