5.0 out of 5 stars If you like trackballs, this is great
I've loved the Logitech trackball for YEARS. I always preferred the wired over the wireless because it offered what I thought was a better response rate. When they stopped producing the wired version (and it became VERY expensive to find in the secondary market), I had to go wireless. It was still better than a traditional mouse. When my wireless trackball was experiencing normal wear and tear and I started to look for a replacement, I found this option. I liked the reviews and the price point made the risk low. GREAT BUY! I love the surface. It's not plastic smooth, but not rubbery either. It's a very comfortable combination of the two. Excellent tactile feedback from the buttons. While the two side buttons aren't programmable, their default (forward/back) is how I like it anyway so that didn't detract me at all. The scrolling wheel performs flawlessly and I love the resolution button. Sometimes I use a Microsoft Surface on it's own with the single screen and I like a lower resolution. Sometime I have two large monitors plugged into a docking station (giving me 3 monitors) and I like a higher resolution to navigate the great amount of visual real estate. I can do this quickly and effortlessly now. It feels natural in my hand and I once again have the response I desire from a wired device. This was a great purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars I love this style of mouse, and I love this brand!
My new WIRED thumb-ball with scroller wheel mouse just came in. I am very happy. My first Nulea device was a wireless mouse - also a great mouse - but I find all wireless devices to be a tricky to share across devices - not an issue specific to Nulea, but to every product I've owned.I have to share a mouse and keyboard across 4 computers, and I find wired devices operating with a switch to be BY FAR the fastest and most reliable way to use a single mouse and keyboard across many devices. I loved the size, feel and functionality of my first Nulea ball mouse, so I decided to check if they had a wired version. I was overjoyed they did. This mouse has a great feel - does everything I need - a thumb-ball mouse with a roller wheel scroller - and delivers it at the best price I have found.I really hope Nulea gains even more traction. They produce products that, in my opinion, are superior to Logitech (I had been a Logitech devotee for the better part of 3 decades), and at a much more competitive price point. As a ball-mouse fan, Nulea, thanks for making such great devices, at such great prices.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for my larger hands and wired!
Wired!! I had a wireless trackball, never again! I do not like worrying about batteries or having to shake them to make them work. This worked right out of the box and being wired I feel much more secure, as in not worrying about it cutting out because of loose battery or the dongle is 3 feet away. For my larger hands it felt comfortable, there are 2 extra buttons which is nice although I have not used them in game yet just for back and forth on the internet.
4.0 out of 5 stars The Competition Should Be Afraid...
The feel, the way my hand "fits" the mouse is important, and this one fits well. I do have slightly large hands, but I think this will fit nicely even for a small hand.I'm at the computer, on average, 12 hours daily. I'm a Web developer, so I do all sorts of things that require "everything" to function as designed or I throw it away. The mouse performs very well. I can't really tell the difference between this mouse the the "L" guys wireless mouse...who refuse to hear that their mouse has a serious problem with the bluetooth signal and won't respond. No more purchases from those..."people".It was because of "L" that I reverted back to a wired mouse. There is just 1 part of the nulea mouse that drives me crazy - the "Back" button. Usually I have to press it 2 or 3 times, pressing harder each time, before it goes back a page. It's pretty low, especially compared to the "forward" button. Unless you stop, prepare your index finger by lifting it. stiffening, and point down then push, it's not going to engage the button. That's not a deal-breaker. I don't depend on that button much. But I recommend the manufacturer raise the button so there is more to "push".Other than that, it's a nice mouse. I have only been using it a couple of months, but it seems like it will stand the tests that I put all my electronics through in a day.I'll update in a few months if there are any issues.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice size
This mouse has really improved my ergonomic issue with thumb and wrist. Easy to use. Durable and comfortable.
