Doesn't fit standard paper towel roll of a 11 inches tall. This product might be useful for a 7 inch paper towel. It is made nicely but the "stem" of the product is way too short! Bummer...

The seller of this item should post photos of the stem with a ruler next to it. Because these do not fit as someone else stated a regular paper towel roll. I’ve submitted photos to show the measurements. Another problem is the bottom is completely smooth and slides all over the place that could’ve been remedied if the stem was correct. Really a shame it’s a beautiful piece. Maybe the seller should consider putting a piece to elongate the stem in the box, so that it would fit a normal size paper towel roll.Only way you could use this is if you put some nonslip on the bottom and did not attach the decorative top. But I feel it’s too much money to not have the beautiful top showing.

it was really easy and quick to assemble and the marble piece is pretty heavy so it stands fixed on the surface and does not slip.we were really impressed by the quality of the marble and the craftmanship. it looks really elegant and its now a really unique detail in our kitchen.
