    I am new to pickleball and just wanted a starter set. THe paddles are sturdy and work just great. the carry case is nice, very useful to carry your gear and I can slip a water bottle in the outer pocket. Good value

    As a beginner to pickleball and wanting something to get me started in the sport, I got the 2-pack knowing that it’ll be good for either a singles game or to have a paddle for a partner in a doubles game. The labeling that it is USAPA Approved was a sell for me, but later I went to the USAPA official site and searched for Gorilla and Gorilla Grip, and the results turned up empty. Does it mean it’s not official? Well, unless it shows up, then maybe. But if you’re a beginner and not competing in a league, it should be fine.Things I Like-Grip Handles: The grips are good. After a few rounds and our hands getting sweaty, the grips were still good and grippy.-Mesh Net on the Bag: The mesh net on the front of the bag is a good place to not only store the balls but also our keys and cell phones.Things I Wish-USAPA Approval Link: A link to the official USAPA approval page or some kind of documentation that shows the manufacturer name. (Sometimes it’s just rebranded stuff, so it could be USAPA approved.)-Instructions: Maybe some small “welcome to pickleball” instructions.Overall, if they don’t change anything at all, it’s a good product. You can see that I’ve already used the outdoor balls several times, and they got some scuffing but are still going strong.
