When the crate cushion arrived, it was vacuum packed. There are specific directions included. Due to the vacuum packing the foam is very compacted. It is is a zipper case & the outer case is folded separately. I tool the foam out of the case & it felt like a large fold, but the next day it was as thick as I thought it should be with no fold. You do have to let it sit 24-48 hrs as directed. So today, I'm happy with the the product & would purchase it again.

My pup is 48lbs and 45 in long from nose to tip of tail. She likes it. I did let it set out for 48 hrs before letting her use it and I washed the cover and it went on the orthopedic foam easy enough. My pup is not a Chewer of her things so I can't say if it's chew proof. what I can say from experience if she was this would not be chew proof for big breeds of dogs or aggressive chewers. There's better ones out there for that.

I got this to replace a thin kennel pad. My 7 year old Queensland definitely likes it better. He spends more time just relaxing in their with the new thicker orthopedic pad. For the price, I am happy. The removable foam cover seams a bit cheap and will probably not last super long so this is why I gave it 4 stars. I left the foam out for a few days to remove the smell which is common with foam products.

My girl Lucy is 14 and suffers from arthritis we have put this upstairs near our bed and she will actually settle down and sleep soundly. It gives her the support she needs for her aching joints. It's just the right thickness for her to get on comfortably, cover zips off easily for cleaning. I like it so we'll I've purchased another for downstairs.

My pup has been sneaking on my bed really making my sleep uncomfortable . This bed has been a great solution. I’m slightly disappointedI didn’t by a bigger one so he could stretch out in style, but plan to buy 2 more for his favorite spots

This bed is okay. I like that you can wash the cover which is good for our puppy. It’s light weight and easy to travel with. The foam is pretty good. However it is 100% NOT waterproof. It’s water resistant on the top surface only at best, and that’s being generous. Also, after cleaning 2-3 times the liquid resistant liner on the cloth cover ripped out despite following wash instructions and the other cover is only lined on top. The foam is basically covered in urine from crate training our puppy bc everything leaks through, and it’s so light weight he can flip it over.

Very impressed with this product quality and design. I really like the grey color. I have washed the cover several times and let it air dry and it seems like it will be durable. My dog loves her new bed!

I’m not sure what constitutes an “orthopedic” bed, but I know when my black lab lays on this bed the foam compresses to the floor so it isn’t fancy by any means. I think it will be comfortable enough for her kennel though. I feel like the cover is likely going to rip easy once her nails snag it as she tries to get comfortable. It makes a crinkle sound a little like a waterproof mattress cover. Set up was easy, it comes compressed and I let it rise for 24 hours. I do think I could get something nicer and more comfortable at TJ Maxx for $40.
