I ordered this for my son to keep in his room at college. He loves oranges and this was a great snack for him to have in his room to munch on while studying. He said they were delicious!

These dehydrated pineapple slices are not very good at all. They have the rind on them and the pineapple is not cored, that I could look past, not that big of a deal. They smelled awful though, and they tasted the way my dog’s treats smell. I didn’t eat them because they tasted so bad. My dog on the other hand? I broke them up into tiny pieces and used it as a meal toppper for her and she absolutely loved them! So while I wouldn’t rate them highly for human consumption, definitely worth 4 stars for pet consumption though. I even tried to get my daughter’s boyfriend to try them and he’ll eat just about anything, even he thought they were better suited for dog treats.As a suggestion if you prefer them to be a bit crunchy and not a chewy snack, store them in the refrigerator prior to eating.

Yes I thought dried lemons looks dark but black? Besides the color it smells awful, to the garbage it will go. 👎

We were able to use them we thought they might be better than what we could do at home. But for the price they seem good.

This package contains a lot more grapefruit slices than I expected and they look very nice. They seem like a good choice for use as a garnish or decoration (as advertised), but I don't think they're a good choice to add grapefruit flavoring.If I let them sit in cool/cold water they add a hint of grapefruit flavor after a few minutes, but it is very faint and I think it wouldn't be noticeable at all in a mix with other flavors and after a while the stronger bitter notes start coming out as they rehydrate, followed by some astringency. I tried adding them in when I was steeping tea bags for iced tea but they just made it bitter. I steeped them with the tea bags for 5 minutes then took them out. They were clearly rehydrated, but I didn't really taste any grapefruit notes in the iced tea. There was plenty of bitterness from the rind/pith though.I think they are good as a garnish in a cold drink and they'd add visual appeal to a sweet punch bowl, but I won't steep them in hot water again.
