I purchased this sign for my business to replace a sign that I purchased a year ago. The old sign wasn’t bright enough to see in bright conditions. I absolutely love this sign!!!! The letters and the border light up extremely bright. I love the white and yellow color. The sign is very visible. I like how you can adjust the brightness of the sign. I leave it on the highest setting as the sign is located in a very bright spot, especially in the morning hours. You can see it very clearly in the brightest of conditions. The quality of construction appears to be very good. The low profile of the sign is nice. A chain comes with the sign to hang it if you prefer to hang it. The chain is very long but easy to make shorter and the chain isn’t a cheap lightweight chain. It is a heavy chain considering how lightweight the sign is. All in all I have been extremely pleased. I just installed this yesterday, so I can’t speak to the longevity of the sign. Will update if I have any issues there. But from what I see I don’t expect to have any issues there. I would certainly recommend this sign to anyone out there who is thinking of purchasing an open sign!

I accidentally got a similar sign that isn't dimmable. That sign is totally appropriate for a business window, or to call attention to something like a storefront, but it is far too bright for an accent piece in a dwelling.On the flip side, this sign is appropriate for both. The dimmer has a wide selection of brightness settings.These signs are getting so good that I suggest you to tailor their look to your business. There's a variety of OPEN signs available, so accentuate your business' style with your choice.This sign would look good in something like a boutique, a salon, or a bakery, because the lines are crisp and clean. I'm using it to accent a home bar.The brightness setting is on the second brightness level in the photo, which is good for indoor residential use. I think the design is very cool.See how the yellow OPEN part reflects yellow light through the clear part of the sign, shining a yellow border around the blue rectangle?You've got to set up a home bar properly to avoid having it look dorky.You can have faith that mine is by no means dorky. A good place to start in your own avoidance of dorkiness would be to get this crisp, clean sign.Also, consider...are your kids playing in the garage with their band? Use this sign. Serve some punch in the garage for the kids.Lemonade stand? Same thing.Got puppies or kittens to give away? You're open for business.Continue to think outside the box my friends.

Complete junk! So, cute, but after reordering and the second sign did not work, I have to conclude the first was not a fluke. I contacted the company and have yet to receive a response.

I ordered this for my husband. He loves neon signs and anything he can put in the garage/man cave. It works and is really nice. He likes being able or having an option to dim (10 levels)or make brighter. You can shut it on or off with the remote. It comes with the USB cord but no adapter. It's very lightweight and easy to install or move. It works for him and he recommends.
