5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Stick, trigger, button and Dpad Feel.
The controller itself fits amazing into my hands, thats coming from someone with a not so big set of hands and the controller fits so perfect into them, the Buttons are fast and responsive not squishy unlike my controller that came with my Xbox Series S, the added addition of everything being hall effect including the sticks and trigger is really amazing too to help prevent stick drift. The triggers along with stick movement feel absolutely unreal ive never felt a controller more smooth in my entire life (owned controllers for generations of consoles Playstation 1, N64 all the way up to now) it feels like my thumbs and fingers are on cloud 9! Back paddles are pretty sweet too, they are perfectly positioned on the back with a short, tactile, click action that makes it super easy to activate them really fast when you need them. Overall this controller is an amazing controller with durability comparable to an Xbox 360 controller your older brother would have given you back in the day when he left for college, Durable, Sleek, Doesnt drift no matter the situation and is absolutely beautiful 10/10 controller I dont regret my purchase
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good at, um, controlling games
Some people might buy this controller because it's largely translucent and has RGB support and generally looks pretty cool. Those people will like the way it looks out of the box and on default settings. I'm not one of those people. They will find that the GameSir app on Xbox lets you tweak the colors extensively and gives really fine detail control of the colors and the flows and all that. For me, it wasn't worth the time it would've taken to dial in my own super color motif. I didn't like the app, it wasn't intuitive and I wasn't invested. If you are, I'm sure you can figure it out and get a result you like.I bought this for the Hall joysticks and remappable extra buttons on the back. These features are all pure win. Controller feels good, works good, plays good.It has the drawbacks of needing to be wired and feeling really light compared to anything that holds batteries onboard. For some, this may feel cheap or fragile. The plastics seem to be thick and high quality enough that an unexpected breakage seems unlikely. If you play Mortal Kombat or haven't had a Victory Royale in a while, you can probably still bash it to death after a frustrating loss but the controller won't make it easy for you.I like this one a lot. Does exactly what it says and works great doing it. It might be my own head cannon, but I do feel like I have better fine control that say a stock Series X controller.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!
If mine breaks I’ll buy another that’s how much I like it. The joystick, buttons and triggers are all good quality. No stick drift is rare even for new remotes. Great design but turning it on is weird but it works
4.0 out of 5 stars Hall effect joystick for great control paired with subpar software
The touch and feel of the analog sticks is really amazing on the gamepad itself. I was sick of getting a year of use out of my controllers before the analog sticks started drifting, so I bought this for the hall effect sticks. The hall effect sticks take an hour or two to get used too, they're super snappy and accurate and if you're used to the rubbers band driven analogs the precision may through you for a loop at the start, but once you've gone hall effect you'll never want to go back. The buttons are also nice and snappy-- wish they where mechanical keys but they're not bad for squishy pad keys. Oh and you're probably not going to find another hall effect controller in this price range that's as good as the Kaleid, so definately 5 stars on the value. All that said, the software running the controller is bad. Not unusable bad, just annoying (more so than controller software). First, all sound on your PC stops when the software is open, and the controller is disconnected from the PC when you open the software. So if you're in a game and open the software the game no longer recognizes the controller until you've closed the controller software. It's also limited to a meager 3 profiles. I don't even understand why there's a limit, it just creates a 10kb text file on your computer with the profile mappings, and to have the limit as low as 3 is pretty ridiculous. All that said, if I needed a 2nd controller or a replacement in the future I'd consider purchasing another Kaleid.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing controller for a crazy bargain
Works for the Switch/PC (not for xbox afaik), has magnetic hall effect sticks + triggers so there’s zero stick drift and the triggers can be configured via the software to be hair triggers or not, and all the other buttons are mechanical switches as opposed to membrane so they feel great and have a satisfying click to them. You can also enable 1000hz polling rate in the software so in-game your aim has the same smoothness as using a gaming mouse whereas most controllers are only 250hz or lower. The only downsides are that you have to install the software and afaik you have to launch the software to enable the 1000hz mode each time, and it’s wired instead of wireless which I personally prefer but it’s something to consider. One potential downside is that in only has two back paddle buttons instead of four or more on other controllers but imo this is fine.Controller looks really cool too, has customizable LEDS, you can turn off or even adjust rumble for the controller or the triggers individually, all around great controller for the price. 10/10 even.
Excelente control.
Controle maravilhoso!
The media could not be loaded.
Hall effect is goat
So, I looked for a new controller as the one I had started getting some drift. Long story short, I stumbled upon this and actually got worried about the reviews. Maybe the worrisome reviews were random because I haven't had any issues yet. I purchased this for BO6 and I can tell you, the sticks have stayed at 0% since I got the product. The sticks actually feel better, they don't feel so "sticky" after awhile. The software is easy to use, just needs to be googled and installed. The lighting is cool but honestly not needed. If you're looking for a new upgrade, I would highly recommend trying this out or any other hall effect type controller on the market.Side note, the package included a trial for game pass (which I didn't expect so I gave the code to my brother)Anyhow, expectations are different from person to person so, make it your own decision to try it out.
Just about perfect. Just about...
Finally a (3rd party) game controller that doesn't suck and doesn't destroy your wallet! The T4 Kaleid even surpasses the original xbox 360 controller, both wired and wireless, in my opinion. The range of motion is as close to perfection as you can get. You can actually perform circular motions on the sticks and not have a tendency to gravitate at the cardinal directions (+ diagonals). Very very important if you like twin-stick shooters and anything requiring precision for that matter. The buttons are also super responsive with a very short travel and a nice satisfying mechanical click instead of the mushy rubber contacts of just about everything else. I do have one minor gripe about the 2 buttons on the underside. The location just about guarantees you are going to press one when you pick up the controller by the handle which may cause undesirable effects depending on what you are running at the time. But they are very responsive as well if that is important to you. Mine are not mapped to anything because of this issue. Another minor issue if you are a couch gamer (even PC), the included cord is a wee bit on the short side at 6'. Luckily I had an extension handy. You should definitely consider getting the companion GameSir T4k App for PC to really dial in the range of motion and dead zones of your sticks and triggers. You can also create your own (very limited) RGB lighting animations. All 8 frames. And for the love of bacon do not lose the manual. Take pictures, store it away, just don't lose it. There's a lot of button combos to activate/deactivate the various features on the controller to remember. None of the minor issues I have pointed out are worth deducting a star however. Also, Switch mode appears to work - at least it does in my emulator, including motion gyros/accelerometers. The app will also allow you to map the gyros to your stick (one or the other) while in PC mode (xinput) though I have no need for it. But yeah this controller is pretty sweet.
Au top!
Bon rapport qualité prix comparé à la manette officiel. Simple à modifier grâce à l'application sur Xbox. Je recommande cette manette.
