I'm using this in a maple syrup boiling setup, and so far It's working great. Threads are precise and correct, valve itself doesn't take a lot of pressure to activate. Overall, good piece at a good price.

This is a great item for water flow preventer so that I can maintain pressure is some areas of my water system in a camper trailer. I always go with stainless since stainless is resistant to corrosion. It is also very well made and resistant to bacteria and things like that, so I always recommend it for drinking water.

Way better than I needed, but unfortunately incorrect for my intended use. I will eventually use it with my vacuum pump in a future project I'm still thinking about and gathering parts for. It's totally appropriate for that, and still probably better than what I need.
