This is standard table sugar. $16.99 is definitely priced quite high for 2.2 pounds, but I guess you're supposed to reuse the container. The container is ok, but I prefer storing my kitchen staples in containers with flip lids, and this one needs to have the top pulled off.

I think the concept is nice if you are a one- or two-person household to order something that isn't in bulk and comes in a reusable container. Doesn't take up a lot of space in your pantry, food product is good, but the container cracks easily. This has been the third food product I have ordered from this company, and while I like the food product, all three containers came cracked. While not deep enough for the product to spill out, there is a vertical crack. I am sure, and rightfully so, that the reusable container is factored into the price of this product. If the containers had not come cracked, I would have rated the item higher because I could use the container again.

Honestly restocking videos seem like the main point of this product otherwise I'm not sure why anyone would spend way more on sugar than they need to. I personally would even take the label off but in general it's a nice shape and looks great on a shelf.

The sugar in this is normal white sugar and there are no problems with it. The reusable container it came in was cracked. For me, this was a real negative because the reusable container was a big factor in me choosing this item. I feel like the cost was too high for it to not come in a nicer container. Is does still function well and Looks nicer than sugar in a bag.

I believe that what you are paying for with this Minimalist granulated white sugar is the container as this is regular routine sugar. I ordered another product from this same company where the lid was loose. Fortunately this one was packaged well with no loose sugar. The sugar tastes like...well sugar. While the container is nice, I do think that this product is overpriced and I would not pay this amount for it.

I appreciate the shape and size of the container of "Minimalist Granulated White Sugar, 2.2 lb, Versatile Pantry Staple, Sweet Taste, Reusable Packaging". It's perfect for putting on the shelf behind the stove so I have easy access to it when making sauces, dressings or pots of food. The lid comes off easily and the sugar granules don't end up all over the place like they did with the container I had been using. It's also larger than the container I had been using so I don't need to deal with bags of sugar as often. The sugar is, well sugar. Nothing different, special or unique. I received my container in February 2024 and its Best By date is 12/2025

Let's face it. There are more economical ways of buying sugar. There's nothing unique about the sugar. What you're buying here is the packaging. It is a nice reusable container. Even if you want to use it for something else, the label should be pretty easy to remove. You'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth the premium, but if you just need sugar, you'll do better elsewhere.
