I installed these two fire blankets on my kitchen wall. I hope I never need to use them, but I feel safe knowing they're there. I like not needing to worry about what type of fire my fire extinguishers are rated for, and that these blankets can block oxygen from reaching any type of fire. Great value for some peace of mind. These fire blankets seem to be a great thing to have in your kitchen in case needed. The easy pull tabs make it easy to get blanket out vs trying to figure out an extinguisher.

I don’t need to teach my family how to use the fire extinguisher. All I had to teach them is how to protect their fingers in case of fire (which hopefully will never happen) while using the blanket.

It's a lot easier to use and storage than a fire extinguisher.Be careful. Don't touch the blanket directly with your hands. Use the black strap instead, otherwise your skin may feel hurt from the glassfiber.
