This is ideal not just for babies. I like the soothing sounds, and it has a wide variety of settings. It’s also very attractive for the room. This would make an ideal gift.

No other photos needed, product is exactly as described. I was disappointed by the device. I does create white noise, and the noise is adjustable, but the simplicity of the device makes this buy seem costly. The device has good weight, a fully plastic shell that is adjustable with a fan inside. That's it, nothing else. No night light, no timer, just one button on top for the speed setting. I found nothing special or unique about this device that a fully electronic device 1/2 its size wouldn't do. I did find the noise to be slightly more natural on the lowest setting, but at higher setting it became annoying and too loud.

This is a unique white noise machine as it’s gone back to the roots of white noise – to the days when people would turn on a fan with a loud motor just for the noise. While this has a true fan in it, there is not enough air created to impact the room – this truly is a fan designed just for the noise it makes.It’s a true fan noise – the mechanical moving of a fan by an electric motor. It’s pure and mechanical. There’s nothing “digital” about it. However, even on the lowest setting it is much louder than I expected; it’s louder than most box fans. It’s designed to be loud, and it succeeds. On the highest setting, it can be heard very far away – on the other side of my house with a bedroom door closed between me and the device. If your refrigerator compressor or convection oven started making this loud of a noise, you would be very worried. It’s louder than my air fryer. If you have loud noises that you need to overcome with fan noise, this may be the device for you. You can adjust the tone by moving the top to open or close the small holes where the noise escapes. This does indeed change the tone to mute or deaden the sound as would be expected. This, combined with the lowest setting does bring this down to something I might use.Operation is very simple. There is a single big button to hold to turn it on, and press to change the loudness of the fan. Spin the whole top to change the tone/deaden the sound. The instructions say not to have it near the bed (it would be very loud) but rather, across the room (much like people do with a real fan). The only annoyance with this method is you’d have to get up to turn it off. If you like the noise of a real motor near your head, this won’t be a big issue, but this is loud, and you may find it too loud if too close to you, even on the lowest setting, so across the room is the wise suggestion. There is no light or any other features.I actually like it – I’ll just keep it to a lowest setting. The noise is pure, almost like an industrial fan.

This doesn't put out much sound. All you seem to get is a sound like a fan. I think there is an actual fan spinning inside of it. However, if you're looking for something to drown out the noise of something else such as cars out the window or noisy neighbors or whatever this won't do it. But if you're looking to put a baby to sleep yeah I think this would probably be ideal for that. But I wasn't looking for that.

Enjoying the simplicity of this thing. You just hold the button down to turn it on or off and tap it once to go up in volume and it cycles through back to the lowest volume again. Simple, easy peasy. I just wish it was just a tad louder to cover snoring better. Love that it's a real fan noise, not synthesized.Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

I've tried a few different white noise machines, but this one from BABELIO is by far the best I've used. What sets it apart is the actual inner fan that generates the noise, rather than just playing looped recordings. It creates such a naturally soothing sound that truly blocks out outdoor commotion.The sleek design looks great on my nightstand, and the simple controls make it easy to adjust the tone and volume to my liking. Being able to save my preferred settings to memory is also clutch.As someone who struggles with insomnia, having this white noise on through the night has drastically improved my ability to fall and stay asleep. It's pretty affordable too, especially for the quality. Whether for home, office, or travel, I can't recommend this noise machine enough!
