5.0 out of 5 stars Well Built Tent
Debated real hard on this tent or just go ahead and get a Whiteduck. As a 6' 4'' guy i had plenty of room to stand and get dressed as well as having a full size air mattress tuned foot facing the pole (had to move pole about 4'' at the bottom for the mattress to fit) or two cots angled in the tent with my clothes, gear box and stove with wood by the door. The tent is super dark and will hold heat in very well using just a portable gas heater or wood stove. I am very pleased with how well built this tent actually is, This tent comes with some very heavy duty stakes for both the floor and guy wires. The guy wires themselves are very thick paracord and reflective. The center support pole is very robust and will hold a Coleman lantern very well with to correct rigging, might also could hold your back packs if you could figure out how to hang them. Takes about 30 minutes to get fully setup by yourself and can be done without breaking a sweat. The toughest part about this tent is its bulky and weighs quite a bit. Getting it to your campsite can be tricky with just how heavy and bulky it is.
5.0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Tent.
The media could not be loaded. Finally was able to take this out, couldn’t be happier. It did rain a lot and I stayed completely dry inside while allowing the keep the doors and windows open for ventilation. Which was amazing, no damp air inside. After reading reviews before purchasing I’ll settle the debates. I bought green specifically Because it is darker inside, allowing me to sleep in when I desire much easier. Extremely easy to setup, literally self attaching poles and the stakes it comes with are very impressive. Would be easiest with 2 ppl, however if you stake the bottom down first, I could do it by myself. Don’t underestimate how heavy this tent is though, 73 pounds feels heavier than I thought. But quality seems amazing. Easy to fit in the nice carrying case it comes with after use. I see this tent lasting me many years to come, Will update if anything changes.
4.0 out of 5 stars Quality Tent, has things that could be better
I've got 2 of these, a 3m and a 5m. I've used both extensively in summer, fall, winter, and spring in the mountains of Colorado.Rain: I had the pleasure of spending the night during the strongest thunderstorms I've ever experienced at 11,000 ft. I was dry and the tent stayed dry, however I could feel the slightest bit of mist coming through the canvas once it was fully saturated. It was so subtle I didn't know if I was imagining it just because of how hard the rain was coming down. Dried out quickly in the AM within a hour of the sun coming out.Snow: I've used a stove in both my tents to great success, the stove I have in the 5m is so effective I usually have to leave the windows and doors open even when its 20f outside. I've stayed in the yurt with 8 inches of snowfall and is performs less well in snow. A few light leaks where the roof goes into the wall area, I'd imagine from all the water from the melting snow running down and gathering there. Didn't ruin anything or ruin the fun or cause discomfort, <500ml of water. I am looking for a waterproof tarp for these as I am a big fan of winter camping but all in all holds up much better than expected for non-waterproof canvas.Direct Sun: Just don't do it, the green canvas gets super hot and the windows/doors aren't really large enough to ventilate it which is why I imagine the tell you to drop the walls in the summer. If placed in the shade it is delightful with our Colorado summers at high altitude. I'd imagine somewhere like Arizona in the summer this would be a nightmare.Heat Tolerance w/ Stove: I have had some HOT fires in these tents, stove jacks red hot with the thermometer reading 600+ F. Didn't have any issues with their fireproof stove jack slot. It is a TIGHT fit with a 5in pipe but it works really well and I have no concerns of it catching fire. I use a fireproof matt to put the stove on and put the stove pipe up through the fireproof hole with no additional insulation. A note about the heating, it doesn't like to get warm at the floor anything below where the bell meets the walls stays a little chilly. At cot level/ chair sitting level is it perfectly comfortable and then a bit stifling when standing at the top. I wish the vents at the top did more. All in all a solid tent, I wish they sold a waterproof tarp separately as the only ones I can find online have the stove port on the opposite side, which I supposed can still be used as waterproof materials works both ways.
5.0 out of 5 stars Greatquality Tent
The media could not be loaded. I got this tent and set it up in my backyard next day. I really love its color, and the fabric feels great. It blocks sunlight very well, which keeps the inside very cool and dark. Just what I need to get a good night's sleep outdoors without being woken up by the morning sun. However, this 10ft is really only good for one or two people. If you are going for a family camp, I would definitely recommend going with a larger size.
1.0 out of 5 stars This tent isn't the least bit waterproof
There is water completely surrounding the perimeter inside the tent so it leaks everywhere possible which brings me to doubt that does anything else that claims like putting a wood burning stove in it. As bad as it leaks I have have doubts about any of its other claims. I'd be afraid to put my wood burner in it due to the fear that it may just catch on fire. I would post pictures but it won't allow me. But it's a lot of water and it wasn't heavy rain
3.0 out of 5 stars Is not leak proof
The canvas is not very sturdy against strong thunderstorms. I had rain water literally pushed through the cotton material by strong winds.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect
Easy set up and it is waterproof we stayed in it through wind and rain no problems very good tent. Worth the money
5.0 out of 5 stars As advertised!
Takes a little time to set up, pounding a lot of pegs, but it’s fairly easy. Well constructed and sturdy.
Green tent
Thank you for my beautiful tent received, I haven’t opened yet to see, but will come back to give seller better review after testing it out on a rainy windy stormy day
