I am a water bottle snob. I'm all about quality and functionality, and I also want something colorful that matches my style. I'm picky and have very specific tastes for what I want, and this water bottle checks off almost everything I wanted, and more than that!1) Style - I like bright colors, pastel colors, and subtle or metallic patterns. Check. This water bottle has an awesome, smooth matte finish and the colors go together super well.2) Straw - I like water bottles that have silicone tips to drink from. Check. I was worried since this one isn't flexible or adjustable like others are, but it's very ergonomic and pleasant to drink from.3) Lid - I prefer the mouthpiece of my water bottles to be covered with a locking lid. Check. Not only does this have what I wanted, but the quick fill technology really was a game changer for me as well. It's crazy convenient just being able to flip up the lid and throw in some ice or fill up when needed.4) Insulation - I want water bottles that don't sweat and retain cold well. Check. Is this the best insulated water bottle on the market? Absolutely not. It's not one of those water bottles that you can sleep next to and wake up with cold water the next morning, but will it stay cold for most of the day at work if you start with a full thing of ice? Yes, and that's what's important to me.5) Washability - Never have I ever had an insulated water bottle that is machine washable. I used to machine wash all of my water bottles until I had an incident where one was in really bad shape afterwards. Whooooops! I pay attention to washability after that, and handwash most of my water bottles, plastic, metal, or otherwise. This one IS machine washable!!! I still plan on washing it by hand on occasion because I know bacteria can build up in those little nooks and crannies, but being able to toss it in the dishwasher like once a week is big for me!I love Ello's products, and they love me too. They need to stop making such great stuff or I won't have any room left to buy new things. :)

I love the pop lid feature to fill water bottle but still have the option to remove lid for cleaning. I love the lock feature so you don’t have to worry about spills. I love the color, the handle, size and it keeps my water cold. It’s a perfect water bottle

I wanted a water bottle to take the pool, yoga and dance class. It needed to be lightweight, include a straw, be easy to carry and not spill. My Yeti and Stanley are great for keeping things cold but are heavy and not good to throw into my bag.I saw this water bottle on sale and liked the color. It is perfect! It has a sippy cup lid with a cover that seals it. It also has a carry handle that I can hook on a finger if necessary. The bottle doesn’t hold a lot but it’s perfect for a class or the pool. It keeps my water very cold. Plus it’s pretty. I’d definitely buy it again.

Looking for a water bottle that has a silicone spout, a lock, a spout cover and a straw that ISN'T a Contigo feels impossible. Until I came across the Ello water bottles.I have one of their Ello Cooper water bottles and I wanted another one so that I could have the ability to swap water bottles while cleaning one of them. It took me awhile to decide if I wanted to get another Cooper water bottle or if I wanted to get the Pop & Fill.I ended up taking a chance on the Pop & Fill water bottle and wow! It makes using my Cooper water bottle feel sad in comparison.1. The cover for the mouth piece is nicer. The big clunky plastic top on the Cooper water bottle isn't my favorite.2. My straw almost NEVER gets loose. I remember occasionally having to push my straw in a little further while using the Cooper style.3. The ability to just flip it open is seriously amazing. As someone who likes ice in their water, you can imagine putting ice into a water bottle and then having to push a straw through the ice to close the water bottle is kind of annoying. That isn't a problem anymore. You just flip the top off, and drop in your ice cubes and you're good to go. No struggling to put the straw back in when your ice accidentally fuses to itself.4. The entire thing is dishwasher safe. Not just the lid!I appreciate that it locks both the cover and lid from popping open. Just don't accidentally try to refill it while it's locked with the pop top because it won't open for you!This is truly a 10/10 product for me. The capacity is good, it's stainless steel so you aren't getting micro plastics from it and it's pretty durable. Now obviously if you drop it on the ground it might dent or the paint might chip, but that's pretty standard for steel water bottles. It fits perfectly in my Subaru Outback cupholders. It could probably keep my water colder for longer, but it's not a huge deal as long as you drink your water in a reasonable amount of time.

Although it is a very solid water bottle, it has a chemical taste to it. It retains ice well, even in Texas weather, and is very handy. The plastic mechanism is a bit wobbly, and it does leak if you drink without the straw. The lid is versatile, and easy enough to clean.

This is a brilliantly designed water bottle. It's slim, dishwasher safe, and keeps icy drinks cold well. The lid design is top-notch: press a button and the clear top piece springs back to reveal a sip or straw option. Snap open the protruding piece below the button and the entire lid lifts back for chugging, which is what I always use. I can fill ice that way too. It's perfectly easy. I've used this bottle daily since purchasing it 3 months ago before this review to make sure it's really all it seemed to be. It is.Like some others, I struggled with leaks a bit, especially when the bottle was totally full. Then I realized that the slider on the right lid side is a lock. Slide away to open, slide toward you to lock it tight. My one design regret was that the bottle doesn't taper to fit a standard car cup holder. But the lid *is* tapered, so if you lock the cap and turn the bottle upside down, it fits. Obviously, on days you're bleary-eyed or absent-minded this strategy might spectacularly backfire on you. But for me, so far so good (knock on wood).
