I had been in the market for a bookshelf. I frequented yard sales, goodwills, and salvation armies when I stumbled upon them. I did find quite a few bookshelves but none of them were nearly as great of a condition as this that I found on Bolo. Not only that, but this bookshelf was far less expensive than the people setting those prices for secondhand items. This was extremely easy to assemble, my teenage son did it for me and probably had it completely finished in about 20 minutes. I am so happy with how sturdy this bookshelf is and how sleek of a design it is. I love the metal trim of the shelf and I'm thinking about ordering a second. If you are on the fence about this bookshelf, go ahead and do it! Mine is loaded with books and the shelves are deep enough and tall enough to accommodate my hoard of books.

I ordered 3 of these 5-shelf units for my new home. I assemble furniture all the time. Some are more challenging than others. These shelves were some of the easiest things to put together that I have ever done. Very happy with how sturdy they are and how nice they look. I did have a problem with one having some damage on a part. I emailed customer service, gave them the info they requested and had a replacement unit within days. 5 stars for customer service too! Highly recommend this shelf and this company.

This bookcase is a must buy. Sturdy and the wood shelving is solid and beautiful. Took me a half hour to put together but I'm not good at that stuff in general. Not difficult. The price is a blessing. Don't hesitate. You'll love it!

I love that it’s a 5-tiered shelf that is easy to assemble and is Sturdy. Some of the shelves that I had bought before were not too sturdy and they could not hold items that were heavy for an extended period of time. This one was just what I was looking for. Great size for the nook in my bathroom and very sturdy.

Please excuse the total mess all around the shelf.I’m reorganizing my home and I have droves of books, which need a place to live that isn’t the floor. As a broke millennial, I wanted something that looked a bit chic but I needed it to not tank my budget. I actually got these shelves on sale. You may notice I wrote shelves - plural. I bought four of these units.They look nice to me and they are fulfilling their main duty - holding my books. I imagine they’re pretty versatile. I think they would make for good Knick-knack shelves if that’s what you’re into. I’m sure you can use them for a variety of other things as well. I’ll be using one of the shelves to house some framed photos and photo albums, along with more books of course.Putting them together, though, was incredibly frustrating. Curses flew and tempers rose. After putting two of these together myself and nearly having a meltdown, a friend came over to help and we still had a hard time. All the pieces you need are there, but the screws and the boards do not align well. Sometimes it felt like we were forcing the screws in, which worried me. Luckily, everything is holding. I’ve never weighed my books, so I can’t speak to the weight capacity. In overall performance, I say it’s getting the job done.Would I buy a fifth shelf? If the four I have aren’t housing everything, I will have to cave because I want my home to look put together. In my case the price was right and the struggle was worth it.

As you can see from the pictures, I took many angles so you can see the sturdiness, space, and great condition of this piece. Clearly there is plenty of space to house these collectibles with room to spare. This item has versatility in that it can be used as a bookshelf, display, in a kitchen to hold dishes or baking supplies or for your plants. It also comes with screws you can use to anchor the shelf against the wall, but my baseboards didn't allow the shelf to lay flush against the wall so that was not possible. I would have preferred straps. This still gets all 5 stars because it checked all the boxes where it counts for me.

Bought to put my knickknacks on for my living room, it was incredibly easy to put together, took a little under an hour, came with the tool to assemble it. It’s a very sturdy shelf, I would put heavier things on the bottom shelf just incase. Looks great for the price and looks exactly like product image, incredibly happy with my purchase, I would buy again if I needed another shelf.
