The ring on the lid to help it seal didn’t stay on. It fell into the container every time it was opened. The ring was lost at some point. It works without it but doesn’t close as securely.

I don't know if my food thermo came defective, but the rubber seal that is on the lid that is supposed to keep it from leaking falls off so easily. When I was cleaning it for the first time and I cleaned around the seal it just popped off like if it was loose. Then when I had something in it I would shake the thermo and when I opened it, there was the rubber seal floating in my soup. It happens about 7/10 times and im tired of having to fish out the seal with a fork or spoon to put it back on just to have it fall off again later when washing it.

I wanted something specifically for hotdogs. We live in the Caribbean and we're often outdoors. I always carry snacks. This food container was awesome. It's a compact size yet it has a wide mouth to pour into and out of. It fit 8 boiled hotdogs comfortably. I did prep it with boiling water while the Hotdogs were ready. Once ready, I poured out the hot water, placed each hotdog and added the hot hotdog water about halfway and closed it tight. Four hours later, when we were due for a bite the 🌭 were still hot. Not warm, HOT! I actually burnt my finger taking one out. My sis in law couldn't believe it! I packed it at about 10am and still at 6pm, the dogs were hot. Great buy. Absolutely recommend.

I place boiling water in it and put the lid on, just to warm up the cup. It keeps my son’s lunch hot most of the day. Non leak, keeps stuff hot and cold for long periods of time.
