    I love the flavor of these. I soak them in hot water and they’re ready to use in about 30 mins. Lovely umami, good size too. They’re firm when hydrated and can be chopped easily. And for the price they’re great, will last me a good few months at least!

    Absolutely beautiful and aromatic dried shiitake mushroom caps. I repacked these to vacuum sealed jars for long term storage. Each bag (I bought 2) filled 13 pint jars. So very pleased with this purchase. I bought these to add to my bulk preps to make cream of mushroom soup from scratch as well as add to casseroles and soups.

    There's so many uses for these mushrooms. You can rehydrate them like they are and make stuffed mushrooms or you can cut them up in little pieces like I did and rehydrate them then you can use them like rice in making soups stews and casseroles without the calories and starches at rice have. I would recommend them to everyone !! Also mushrooms have vitamin D which is super important !!
