The way this duo is packaged, is brilliant and lovely! The boxes are nice, and the pair of glass bottles are really pretty. The bottles also have droppers, which is quite helpful. The ingredients in this duo are awesome and only in the most luxurious products and they all have such wonderful effects on the skin. The serum is a tannish color and goes on smoothly, leaving no tackiness on my skin. The oil is amber in color and, although it is an oil, it does not leave any oily residue behind. The oil soaks quickly into my skin and in the morning, my skin looks amazing. Since I started using this duo, people have actually asked me if I've done something to my face. I highly recommend.This duo is made in the USA.

I had never heard of Naked & Thriving before, but I was really intrigued by the clean ingredients, and decided to give this Super Glow Duo set a try. I'm so glad I did!Firstly, while no product review should focus on packaging (unless it's detrimental to the dispersion of the product), I have to mention that the packaging for these 2 products is simply gorgeous. The leaf patterns on the bottles and boxes is beautiful, simplistic, and high end looking.I was mostly drawn to this set because the daytime serum has bakuchiol (a plant based retinoid alternative) and licorice root (excellent for fading dark spots). The daytime (Illuminate) serum is amazing! I find it very soothing for my skin, and I swear it makes it feel tighter and firmer. I don't know exactly what the magic ingredient is that does this, or if it is the combination of ingredients working in synergy, but it does make my skin feel firmer and more refined. There are no perfumes or added scents to this serum- only the scents from the natural ingredients. To me, it smells like a cross of earthy cinnamon with something floral, but in the best way. It's an earthy, grounding scent, if that makes any sense? The Rejuvenate Face Oil is the complete opposite in scent- fruity and light. It is a wonderful oil to seal in moisture after using a facial moisturizer. I like to add a few extra drops to my skin at night, before bed, and I know I'll be using this all winter long to seal in all the moisture I can!I try a lot of skincare products, and this dynamic duo has earned a coveted spot on my bathroom vanity!

This skincare duo came beautifully packaged and the bottles are gorgeous. There were no safety seals on either one. I am unable to see an expiration date for either bottle but most products will expire with 12 months after opening.The serum is thin and tan-colored. It absorbs very quickly into my skin and contains some awesome stuff like vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, baobab seed oil, bakuchiol, bearberry, licorice root, and ferulic acid. It has amazing antioxidant and brightening properties and boosts collagen.The scent is very strong and floral. There are no added perfuming ingredients so I’m not sure where the scent comes from but it gives me a bit of a headache when I wear this serum.The oil is orange and definitely oily but in a GOOD way. A lot of it absorbs into the skin and so there’s so greasy or oil-slick feeling. It leaves a dewy sheen on my face that I actually like. It contains a ton of antioxidant and soothing ingredients. Some of the best oils in this are sweet almond, argan, sea buckthorn, chia, pomegranate, rosemary, and sunflower.There are a few essential oils that probably give it the strong citrus/citronella scent.It’s too soon to see the age-fighting benefits but using both of these together has helped calm my skin and improve the tone a little. Plus there’s that glowy look I get from the oil which I appreciate at my age (50).If not for the strong scents, I’d give these five stars but there are days when I can’t even use them because of an existing headache that would only be made worse with the addition of anything scented.The price is high but the oil contains rose oil and from what I understand, it’s super expensive to make.If the cost and scent do not bother you, this set is a nice splurge.

I expected to see little improvement as at 81, people are always telling me that I look more like 60 and I have never used anything on my face but soap and aftershave lotion. After 30 days of using it, I do see a difference and people have been asking me what I am doing to make my face look so good. I am happy with being my age and will not be ordering more but I can happily recommend it to those who are eager to look younger.

I have extremely dry, sensitive skin and have to be selective about trying new skincare. This duo has caused no issues and feels really good on my skin.I use the serum twice a day; in the morning I follow up with a light moisturizer, which makes a nice base for my makeup. At night, I follow up with the oil and it leaves my skin soft and smooth. I have used this combo for three weeks, and though I haven’t noticed a huge difference in my skin, I have seen subtle changes and it is more hydrated and feels smoother.Overall, I am very pleased with the way this skin makes my skin feel and I like the results. Highly recommend!

This is a high quality duo of skin care. The serum (white bottle) is applied first, just a few drops around the face seem to do the trick. Allow the serum to absorb for at least a couple of minutes before applying the oil (clear bottle). Again, just a few drops around the face, and massage in. I have what would be considered "aging skin", and I have to say that this duo has improved the feel of my skin more than anything else I have tried. I was worried about the oil, due to being prone to oily skin, but my face has NOT been more oily, just seems to be better hydrated. I don't know much about all the ingredients included in these two products, but I know how it feels on my face, and how it makes my skin look - both amazing!! My face seems to get slightly red right after applying both products, but that goes away quickly. HIGHLY recommend!!
