I fill it with ice and add cooled water. Holds ice thru the next day, sometimes still some ice the third day! Held ice for a full camping weekend. Lot of great features—drink & cap options, extra carrying case (even more insulation), bungee strap, carabiner. Great drink bottle!!

After integrating it into my daily workstation setup, here's my take.First off, the capacity is a game-changer. Holding half a gallon means fewer refills throughout the day, ensuring I stay hydrated without breaking my focus. The choice between a chug lid and a straw lid is brilliant; the straw lid especially keeps me sipping without having to tilt the bottle, perfect for minimizing distractions during intense work sessions. As for temperature retention, it lives up to its claims. My water stays cold for hours, a refreshing perk I've come to rely on.However, it's not without its shortcomings. For one, its size, while great for capacity, makes it a bit cumbersome on a cluttered desk. Additionally, despite its insulation capabilities, it doesn't have built-in reminders to drink water. In the hustle of deadlines and emails, I sometimes find myself forgetting to hydrate, wishing the bottle could nudge me to take a sip now and then.

First of all, the color is beautiful.Second of all, I am someone who loves freezing cold water. Cold water without ice isn't cold enough. This bottle keeps my water COLD. It seems like it takes forever to melt the ice, which I love since it keeps the water even colder and keeps me from refilling the ice daily.

Great water bottle, keeps my water cold for a couple of days straight without ice, I haven't needed to even put ice, and it's been over 100° the past couple of weeks.The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is the whistle is completely useless lol, couldn't get the flint to spark, but that could be used error, but mostly because the shoulder strap came in, missing the hinge that springs the clip back into place, so I can't use it, which was a little disappointing, but whatever. I'm not returning a whole perfectly good bottle, because of a strap.
