The mat is perfect for pastry, bread and pasta making. It’s a bit on the thin side so it could be cut easily if using a knife or pastry cutter too firmly. Otherwise it’s great with the measurements on it, easy to clean, is stable if a bit of water is splashed under it. It was worth’s the $$ to me to have this mat. Since I’m not the neatest cook, I also use it under my cutting boards to catch moisture or pieces of whatever I’m cutting up. It also keeps the boards from sliding on the counter. No snell to it at all. Easy to roll up and store it.

A nice Customizable baking mat. The markings to cut are helpful. They don't have a weird smell like some mats tend to have. They're easy to clean and they really are nonstick. Things slide off very easily.

I was glad I'd ordered the six foot roll. It seems like a lot in theory, but I had so many uses for the silicone matting that I got to the end of the roll very fast. The main reason I'd ordered it was because I'd been needing a mat large enough to protect a part of my kitchen counter between my sink and my stove, with enough overlap on the stove side to cover the open space between my stove and counter so that stuff would be prevented from falling into the gap. It also needed to STAY IN PLACE, not shift around, while I was cooking. The 16" width of this silicone mat was exactly wide enough for that purpose and its tackiness keeps it in place on both the counter and my stove. The mat protects the counter from everything from strawberry stains to hot pans to chocolate to raw food. It cleans up fast, I wipe it up with a sudsy sponge and the mat is flexible enough to rinse beneath the sink faucet. Dries fast and doesn't collect lint. I'll be using this piece to protect another part of my counter when I'm rolling out dough or cookies, also. (Don't know why flour is such a filmy thing to try to clean up, but it is, and so it will be nice to have extended protection beyond my regular baking mat.) I used some of the rest of the mat for protecting the two parts of a craft table I use for making shrink plastic charms. I cut two circles for round cake pans so I don't have to keep using parchment paper. The last piece I use over the aforementioned gap between stove and counter when I don't need the larger one. It comes in handy for setting cooking implements on, setting hot things on, etc. I got the beige roll. May some day order the other colors if I find a need for more silicone matting.

Great mat , size it's wonderful to work with.easy to roll and lay flat on surface for your baking or making doughs plus it got measurements for your guide wilhich helps a lot and it's stability is great. glad I bought this new gadget for the kitchen it's a need great value for the money.will definitely recommend to family and friends.
Extra large pastry mat.
This is a terrific product. Extra large, clings to counter. The circles imprinted are really good to help roll out the correct size pie crust. Exactly as ordered. Makes clean up so easy.
