5.0 out of 5 stars Been using this for years
It appears this last bottle of Clarins NEW One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser | 3-In-1 Cleanser, Makeup Remover and Exfoliator I received is a little different from the same product I used before. It is less creamy, but delivers the same outcome--smooth and moisturized skin. It has a wonderfully pleasant and refreshing fragrance! Pricey, but worth it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love this!!
Newly converted Clarins user here. I love this product! I use it every other day. Definitely a noticeable difference in my skin texture after 2 weeks of use. My skin is softer and not as tired looking. Worth every penny!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Face feels clean.
Doesn't over-exfoliate. I use it every other day and my face feels better and my pores are getting smaller.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works as advertised.
Smells good, works well, the exfoliation provides that nice "feeling clean and fresh" sense of comfort, and surprisingly there was a noticeable change in skin moisture after using which isn't a good thing for me coincidently.. but to a lot of people it's important. Normally I would say that it's a bit on the high end of what a wash should cost, but the average cost of other products by this brand seems to typically run in the higher price range. For that reason, I won't say it's a bad value, but I also want say it's a great value. A quick search on the clarins website revealed that a similar product cost 43 dollars from the manufacturer directly which is a higher price than what this one is selling for, however this product is a 4.3 ounce container vs the 6.9 ounce bottle you get from the website. The larger bottle on the website is listed as an exfoliating body wash while this one is listed as a makeup remover which implies it's a face wash. I couldn't find the exact product on the site, so these differences may affect the opinion of those comparing the two which might lead to some deciding that the 39 dollar container of 4.3oz is a better deal than the larger 6.9oz container for only 4 dollars more, but I'll let those considering the facts be the judge on that. Moving forward.. there are some fun facts on this product.. a few notable ppl in time have used/ do use this product brand which celebrates its 70th year this year (2024). The list includes Kate Middleton, Hailey Beiber, Kate Moss, Khloe Kardashian, and apparently the late Princess Diana was even a notable figure to use the Clarins brand. While these people might not use this exact product of the brand specifically, I think the fact that well-known famous people use a product from the brand will create some traction in its popularity.. after all do people not feel better about using products that famous or rich ppl use? "If it's good enough for ___, it's good enough for me right?" This ideology has been a thing for as long as most of us can remember which is why famous people are the ones usually advocating the use of certain products. To give us a sense of security and value in that product.. despite getting paid to do so while also being the most likely to be full of s***.. kinda funny. Anyhow.. I'm nobody famous so take my word as you will.. its not a bad product at all and actually quite nice.. just expensive from my perspective which is why I judge it worthy of 4 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gentle and refreshing
I love this face wash! I get concerned with exfoliating face washes that it’s going to irritate my skin, but it’s really gentle and doesn’t make my skin angry. It smells nice, which is a plus.My skin feels brighter after I use it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very gentle exfoliating cleanser that leaves my skin glowing!
First off, Clarins is a fantastic brand, so I’m not sure I need to do much convincing regarding the quality of their products. Apparently, this particular cleanser is one that they’ve had a while, but from what I understand, it went through a reformulation. I read some reviews prior to giving it a try myself, and it seems that people familiar with the old formula weren’t happy with the new changes. Now, this is my first time trying this cleanser, so I can’t offer any feedback about how it compares in that regard. That being said, I really like this cleanser more than I thought that I would! Now, I’ll admit that I was a bit skeptical with this cleanser’s 3-in-1 claim. It’s a gel cleanser that’s supposed to remove makeup, exfoliate, and also clean the skin all while maintaining the skin’s moisture balance. This particular cleanser features ingredients like kiwi extract (boost radiance), lemon balm (soothe/soften), golden gentian (soothe/soften), and moringa (purify). It has a mild botanical/citrus scent, and it also has small exfoliating beads in it. A little goes a long way with this product, and once you get it wet, it foams up into a lovely lather. This is definitely super gentle for an exfoliating cleanser. Normally, I would never use an exfoliating cleanser daily, but I have to say, this is probably one of the only ones I could ever do that with. It’s not like other exfoliating cleansers I’ve used where the beads in the formula are hard enough to slough off dead skin. The beads in this formula, instead, dissolve really quickly, so there really isn’t any harsh scrubbing involved. Yet, every time I use it, my skin feels really clean and fresh. It also leaves my skin with a really lovely glow, and it’s not as drying as other exfoliating cleansers I’ve used. My skin actually feels pretty good after I get done using this cleanser. As for the 3-in-1 claims, I normally double cleanse at night; however, I did give this cleanser a true shot to see how it would perform by itself. My face did feel clean after one go, which I wasn’t expecting. Now, for transparency purposes, I was only wearing a light skin tint and a bit of concealer, which is far from my usual makeup. As such, the second time I tried it, I was wearing my usual medium coverage foundation, and I found that using this cleanser one time isn’t enough. To be fair, I would say this about any cleanser, so it’s not a reflection of the product. As such, I will continue to use the Clarins only after first using a makeup cleansing oil/balm. Besides, using an exfoliating cleanser twice in a row would be a bit too much for my skin, so the one time is perfect enough for me. Overall, again, I’m really impressed with this cleanser! I definitely like it enough that I would repurchase it once I run out of what I currently have!
