I have used it several times for its intended use – to give you the kind of control of videography or still photography that you would have with a normal camera. But for me the real bonus, the reason I used it quite literally ALL the time is accessibility/usability. I have a partially paralyzed right hand, which makes it very difficult to gracefully hold onto ANY cell phone since it takes one hand to hold the phone in the other to swipe or tap. Now, for the first time in my adult life,, I can easily hold onto my phone with my bad hand that has a tiny bit of gripping capability, enough that it goes right around the handle, leaving my good hand free to touch or tap! It's been quite the life changer for me. The magnetic grip is strong. And I find that the grip also makes it easy to lay the phone onto a countertop standing up in the horizontal position, so I can watch a video while preparing a meal.

The media could not be loaded. This makes taking photos with my iPhone 15 pro so much easier, it handles very well and provides a much more stable grip. The Bluetooth remote connected easily with my phone, every time I turn on the remote it automatically reconnects, it has been working flawlessly. The magnetic hold is very strong, I am not concerned about my phone falling off, I appreciate that there are flip out grips to hold phones without MagSafe or if I go hiking or near water and want it even more sturdy. I appreciate the ability to connect this to a tripod, I plan on using this connected to a clamp mount to film my upcoming wedding since we opted out of hiring a videographer, it should work well enough to satisfy family and friends that could not attend.This was super handy for taking photos of the aurora borealis recently!

Although I would like to warn of a few small points.1. The product is very well thought out, it has a comfortable grip and above all the magnet is strong! As long as you use the iPhone directly or a slim/unobstructed magsafe case.2. The plastic material could have been better, I think they could have used ABS for $20, however the finishes are good.3. The integrated clip to hold a phone without MagSafe IS VERY STRONG, so much so that it is scary because a small blow could make it jump. I would not recommend using it with "wide" phones, they could damage them or break the mechanism.4. They were able to take advantage of the space in the grip to put a small compartment and store: a USB cable, SD card, screws, tools or small adapters, even something simpler like an additional 1/4 hole or for a wrist loop, I don't know !I'm happy because the quality is better than other similar products that feel cheaper, but I don't know if I would buy it again for $20.I am more excited that they release a more compact and versatile 2.0 version.

Bought this to be able to take pictures with my phone while traveling and has been a lifesaver.Very simple to use, a great value for the price, the swivel helps take landscape and portrait images quickly and easily. It also can attach with non magnetic phones if needed whenever a friend might want to borrow it. Have been using it at home and for traveling and has helped me take better pictures with my phone.The detachable button also has great battery life as I can have it connected to my phone all day without having to recharge it. I think I've really only have had to charge it once when on a 2 week trip. I even dropped it in the sand and while at first it was stuck, after a good clean it was like new again.Overall great purchase. Would buy again.

I really like the design and concept behind the phone grip, and when its working it is really nice. The problem I have with it is the amount of effort and time it takes to get the bluetooth to connect to the iPhone (15 Pro Max) when you want to use it. I spent the weekend with my grandkids camping. I would pull out my phone with the grip to get photos of the kids doing things, but by the time I could get the grip and the phone working together the photo op was past. It can take a minute to two minutes before it connects so you end up shooting the old fashioned way by touching the screen until things get connected. Again that can take up to two minutes and sometimes required me to go into the bluetooth setting and touch the device name to get it to connect. The grip is still nice but I would really like the bluetooth trigger to connect in 10 to 15 seconds after first pressing it to come on. Just something to consider if you are looking to buy this grip.
