Couldn't believe I got two lights for what I would have expected to pay for one. Very well packed. Everything sets up easily and then repacks into its own carrying bag. Light bulbs were amazing quality. Temperature/color and brightness can be controlled with a remote switch. The only thing that is inconvenient is that the bulbs have to be unscrewed and taken out in order for the umbrella-style shade to be collapsed. Looking forward to using this setup for years to come.

The lights are going to work just fine for what I need. Definitely a starter kit. The stands are very lightweight. Great for portability, not sure about longevity. Will probably have to upgrade someday. Happy with the purchase.

The Softbox locking mechanism is bad. It pops off and then hits the Bulb. And something is wrong with the remote. When I put the battery in the remote , the remote heats up. The Remote almost melted. I thought that there was an issue with the battery and then I changed to a new one. And same happened to both the remotes in the package. I wouldn't buy this again. I have sent it back the same day. The bulbs also get hot after 10 mins of use.

Unboxing to setup:Took only a few minutes to unbox and assemble both lights, configure settings and start them.Light Quality:I was actually suprised with the adjustable amount these lights can do between brightess and white balance. You can achieve a lot of different looks or vibes depending on what your end result is. Great for product photography and videography. I would still recommend strobes over these for portraits, but these can work in a pinch.Video Recording:No banding was observed during recording by using just these lights in a studio environment with no other lights present. The softboxes included made a nice soft light on the subject for recording.Bonus:I love that these don't require yet another app on my phone. There are too many apps to control too many things these days, and the fact it uses remotes instead is a big bonus in my opinion. Especially if you are using your phone for other purposes, or even using it as your primary recording device, you don't want to be messing around with light settings during a recording or live stream.Overall, I recommend these lights.

I bought this set to use during video recording and live streaming and, while I'm satisfied with the quality and adjustment options overall, one of the stands arrived with a stripped out head screw which leaves the light box to swivel freely instead of friction locking in place. Some minor tweaking was required.
