5.0 out of 5 stars Sets up nicely
I got this to survive hail season where I live. I bought a new vehicle and the moment after I bought it the hail storms began coming. This thing is great. One thing I have done since I live on a prairie: I added sandbags. I think I have about 580 pounds or so of sand on this to weigh it down. I want to convert all my bags to hard-sided water weights, but once I added more bags, it has not budged. I also bought the longer anchors that are sold here on Bolo, the ones with the spinners that go deeper into the ground. I am in a rental, so this is a non-permanent option to keep my vehicle safe and also reduce the bird crap that white vehicles seem to attract (I would've preferred a red vehicle, but I bought used to save money... sooo).I live in a high-wind area and all of this has helped me immensely. I will add more weights and likely remove the tarps for winter, but otherwise I think it will stay up for the at least 2 years I'm going to be here. If things change, I will get some buckets and concrete. The frame is sturdy and nice. My dad and I set it up one afternoon. Only thing I would change set-up wise is I would do the tarps before putting the rest of the legs on because otherwise you have to hop on a Little Giant to get them up and if you live in a windy area, that can be nerve wracking. So, in conclusion: it can work in windy areas, factor the costs of sand, sand bags/weights, concrete, anchors, etc., into the price of this, but it is nice. I have a small SUV and it fits fine beneath this little guy. I just zip it up if hail is coming and it stays stable. I could also probably set this up myself. (I also live alone, so this gives me some added privacy from my neighbors when leaving for work or coming back for lunch.)
5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised
This is by far an amazing low cost buy. The poles are really sturdy, it comes with stakes, tie downs, and sand bags to keep this on the ground. The door zippers are smooth and don't feel cheap at all, and it's really nice to have window flaps as well. The tarps are nice and thick, I don't feel like I need to baby them like I have seen with other tarp carports, and 12x20ft is a great size.It was fairly easy to assemble, I did it by myself. It really should be a 2 or 3 person job, but it's capable of being built by one person.
4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty solid
I purchased when it was on sale for $170. Great value and would recommend it to anyone for that price.Condition: The product I received appeared to be in "used" condition with some stains and rips on the tarp. Customer service was very responsive but the replacement tarps did take a few weeks to arrive via DHL from China. This would have been a bummer if I purchased it full-price, but because of the major sale price I wasn't that bothered.Setup: The setup was quick. All the poles have snap buttons so minimal nuts/bolts required. You might need a step stool or small ladder to get the front/back tarps up.Function: We bought this for storage and didn't think we would need the windows. But they are actually really nice feature since the tent can get hot/dark and it allows you to comfortably work inside the tent. The structure seems sturdy but TBD on how it does in new england winter.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for the price (At first)
It seems to be of decent quality, but two of the legs on the tarp are missing the hooks to hook them to the frame. The two legs are currently flapping in the wind. I might have to try and zip tie them to the posts.UPDATE- We had one moderate storm with 60ish mph winds and the Velcro straps that hold the sand bags to the poles ripped off the bags, the screw in anchors pulled out of the ground and the shed took off and got lodged up in a tree. I have several damaged poles and the tarp is ripped. I guess I have to spend more money to get a higher quality product next time. This has been a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this product unless you live where there’s no wind.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great price and product
The VEVOR Carport 10x20ft, Car Canopy Portable Garage was easy to assemble. I put it into use right away and had 0 issues.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not dark gray…
Pretty decent but green, not dark gray as listed. Missing some bungies, some poles were tough to fit either because the holes for the catches were sloppily drilled or the pole ends were oblong not round. Instructions were pretty good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great affordable storage
So I bought this with it being a temporary outdoor storage for my power equipment and it actually has exceeded my expectations. The tarp pretty thick and feels like it will last awhile. It is large enough to hold my Kubota tractor, lawnmower, and go kart along with a couple tractor attachments. The door function well however I zip tied a 1” x 8’ tube to the door so it rolls up easier and will be adding better tie down straps. For what this building/tent costs it is more than worth the money. The only negative really was the instructions. I would definitely buy again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Can't wait to assemble
I haven't put this up yet but this will fit perfect on our land in the desert. I bought it due to the reviews on how sturdy it is and how well it held up in wind storms . I provide an update once I assemble
