I was really hoping to see some improvement to a few dark spots that have appeared in recent months on my 50-something face, but alas, I have not seen any improvement yet. The video mentions two weeks and I have used it longer than that. I will keep using and will see if anything changes.What I like:* Company is based in the USA (California)* Cruelty-free, no parabens or other harmful stuff* Easy to apply* Easy to transport when I travel* No skin irritation or issues when usingI will update if I see a noticeable improvement. My dermatologist pointed out the dark spots at my recent visit and said they looked the same as his photos so that was confirmation that there has been no change so far, but for the price (~$14.99), it's worth a try.

This is a very good dark spot corrector for a reasonable price. It has a nice consistency that is thicker than some other dark spot serums I have used which gives it a more luxurious feel. I think its texture makes it easier to apply and keeps it on the skin a little longer for more benefits. I like that this serum is unscented. It came in an unsealed box but the bottle itself was sealed. I like that this is made in the USA. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and have noticed some of the sun spots on my face have lightened slightly. I will continue to use this serum in hopes I get even more dramatic results. Overall, I am very happy to have this serum and think it does what is it supposed to do for a great price. What more can you ask for in a product? I highly recommend this Asterwood dark spot corrector.

This is an amber serum with a nice consistency which is not too thin or not too thick. The texture is watery enough to spread around easily, and it absorbs quickly without any stickiness or greasiness. I am able to put on clothing immediately afterwards with no staining. There is no detectable scent.The ingredients include ones which are typically used for skin lightening, such as: niacinamide, tranexamic acid, and kojic acid. I used this in a thigh crease area without any irritation-but do not put it in or on sensitive areas! There is also glycolic and salicyclic acid in this formula.Do I see any lightening after 2x a day application? A smidgen, but that is more results than I have had with any other products I have used for lightening which have done nothing, so I will keep using it. I don't think it will remove spots completely, but it may at least take them down in intensity. Good price for this serum.

This dark spot corrector contains many of the ingredients touted by big name brands that charge a lot more money. I always had freckly skin thanks to my red-haired ancestors. Nothing has ever taken them away, but sunscreen and products like this help reduce the dark spots. This is a generous amount of product. It goes on smoothly and soaks into my skin fairly quickly. Be sure to use sunscreen while using products like this because many of the ingredients will leave your skin more sensitive to the sun.This seems to be a great price for a quality product. I'll look for other Asterwood facecare products.

The serum is like a light gel. It gets absorbed by the skin quickly and does not have moisturizing properties. After using the serum, I have to apply moisturizer, but it cannot be oily because it will lift.I have small, not-too-visible spots on my face, and I have used inexpensive serums to remove them with great success. I thought this serum would be the same, but I did not get any results. I have used it for three weeks. I will finish the bottle, and if I have good results, I will update this review, but I do not expect it.

I've used this product every day for the past 22 days. I've seen zero change in any dark spots, but this serum itself is lovely on my skin. It says you may need to mix it with moisturizer if you have dry skin (which I do) but this is enough on it's own for now (when winter kicks in, it will need to be mixed). I am going to continue to use it and if I see results, I will update this post.
