5.0 out of 5 stars Seems to be working very well.
I wish I had taken before pictures! My dog had quite a bit of tarter that I had been working on removing with a dental tool. He just does not spend time chewing on bones or toys. Then I tried this powder on his food and his teeth are significantly cleaner. It has been almost one month and I will be ordering more for him. It is working. He gave me a funny look the first time he smelled it, but has not balked at eating his food with it on at all. I am thankful to have found a product that actually works as it says.
5.0 out of 5 stars Helps with bad breath!
My dogs are super picky eaters. The first day I sprinkled the powder on their food they didn't eat it right away. When I reintroduced it later, they ate it with no issues. My 2 ten pound Chihuahua mixes have been using this for about 3 weeks now. I have noticed a significant improvement in their breath. This change started within the first week of use. I will definitely be ordering again.
3.0 out of 5 stars Seems to work
Teeth are clean and breath is decent. I use the powder in the morning and dental treats at night combined with dental cleaning every few years. This stuff is pricey so I switched to the large container, using the scoop from the small I previously purchased because I have 2 chihuahuas.*one of my dogs has started to refuse his food with this powder added. Could be the amount is overwhelming for the 1/3 cup serving since I feed 3x per day.
4.0 out of 5 stars Expensive but mostly works
At 53.95 when I purchased this, I knew it better work or I'd be returning it right away. And yes, it does fight plaque but the bottle it comes in is tiny, and I ordered the large size. The effect on the teeth is noticeable and has been helping remove some very discolored areas on the front teeth of my dog. The back teeth aren't really affected, so it doesnt perform as well as I had hoped, but I'm wondering if that's because it doesn't get all the way back in there as it's just sprinkled on top of your dogs food.It is very simple and easy to use, you just use the measuring scoop provided and sprinkle some over their food at meal times.I'm almost out now, and it did do a decent job on the front little teeth and the big canines, but did not get all the stains off and I still haven't figured out how to get it to the back of my dog's mouth with out sticking my finger on the teeth myself. For the value I'd say it's probably too expensive to keep up with as a daily item in our home, as I have several dog teeth cleaning items I use, but it cost about half of what taking my dog into the vet would be so if I look at it that way, it saved a little money.
5.0 out of 5 stars This really works!
I was sceptical and worried about my dog getting sick but no, it is helping tremendously with her teeth and no issues at all. I am buying again and planning to try this brand's chews for dogs.
5.0 out of 5 stars No more bad dog breath
Daily must. I can finally be face to face with my dogs without fear of offensive breath! How 2 likes dogs create dragon breath is beyond me, but this has cancelled that completely. Will always get for them.
2.0 out of 5 stars Be cautious
UPDATE: the seller did reach out and offer a full refund as an apology that this product did not work for my dog and that was really appreciated so I did give a star back. If you are going to try this product on your dog, please watch for any adverse reactionsI after months of occasional diahrea and him getting really sick today, I finally traced it back to this product. Do. Not. Give. Extremely toxic and will make your pet sick
4.0 out of 5 stars Not sure yet after two months.....
Our dogs have no problem eating it, and breath has improved in our older dog. But, after two months it may have helped with some tartar, but not all. The older dog's back teeth haven't changed much and I'm afraid he will still need a dental cleaning. There is one thing, however... the previous two nights the older dog started vomiting after dinner. Tonight I withheld the powder and he is fine and not sick. He had a random episode awhile back, too. I think he may have developed an intolerance to the product, so I am discontinuing it with him. The younger dog seems fine, so we shall see, and hoping she tolerates it better. I do believe it may be good as a preventative, rather than trying to eliminate an existing problem with tartar. Bad breath could be a symptom of gum disease. His gums definitely appear better, but unfortunately it makes him sick.UPDATE: The younger dog now got sick, so discontinuing with her, too. BTW, no change in their normal meals or eating habits. The dental powder was the only thing added recently.
