5.0 out of 5 stars Great keyboard
I bought this keyboard to suplement my MacBookPro. I've very happy with the layout, touch and overall performance. Having access to a 10-key is terrific!
5.0 out of 5 stars I like this better than the Mac aluminum keyboard it replaced
this sturdy combo is very nice. I'm an IT guy so I see lots of products ofr PCs and this hands down is the best value for a standard keyboard mouse let alone something that lights up, bluetooth and works with up to 3 devices and is rechargeable and compact. The keyboard feels like a tank it's very durable and has weight to it that keeps it steady on the desk and comes with a very cool silicone protector (I didn't know I was going to like this feature so much but I do. Mouse is slim and responsive, flatter than most but I already love it. I bought this for home and I wish I would have seen this before buying a very expensive Logitech MK850 for my office for $80 only for the 3 device support, it does none of the rest of the things in this description! Awesome job ProtoArc!!
4.0 out of 5 stars So far, great except for the squeaky wheel.
Really happy with this purchase. Size is great and will fit well when traveling, battery life is good and I like the backlight brighness levels. Keyboard keys and mouse clicks are quiet, however the mouse wheel now squeaks and its only 2 weeks old.Overall, both paired easily with my MacBook Pro and very satisfied, with the exception of the mouse wheel squeak. For the price vs. official products, this was a no-brainer.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Impressed
I'm very impressed with this keyboard! It is solid, the keys have wonderful action, and it is very quiet. I have only used it for a few days, so I can't speak to durability or battery, but I have good hopes.
5.0 out of 5 stars I love it!
This keyboard offers excellent value for the price. While there are a few features I’d like to see improved, overall, it’s a great product. One change I’d suggest is adding another Cmd key to the right of the space bar. I replaced my Apple Magic mouse and keyboard with this setup, and the only improvement needed is with the mouse—it looks sleek, but I wish it had a slightly rounder design on the sides.Despite that, I wholeheartedly recommend this keyboard. It charges well and the Bluetooth connectivity is reliable. It’s also very compatible with both Linux and Windows, which is perfect for my laptop running Linux Mint. Currently, I’m using it with my Mac Pro 2013 and find the typing experience to be superior to the Apple Magic keyboard, even with the missing right shortcut.Lastly, I want to commend ProtoArc for their excellent packaging and customer experience—it made for a fantastic unboxing!
5.0 out of 5 stars So Far So Good!
Works great after the first week. I connected with my MacBook Pro M3 pro chip 14” laptop with very little effort. Came nicely packaged and the keys are very smooth to work on. Hard to believe this unit w/ mouse was priced so good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable, quiet keyboard and solid feeling mouse
My Logitech wireless keyboard and Magic Trackpad both died within a few weeks of each other, and this set was highly rated. The keyboard feels really good, and I generally prefer a low-profile key stroke with a solid feel, and this keyboard feels just right and allows me to type long passages quickly without the fatigue you get from longer sessions with a long-stroke, heavy-button, mechanical keyboard. The backlighting is really nice, as I often work at night or in low light. The ability to switch between three devices at the click of a button is really nice, too. The only complaint I have is that I’d like to be able to raise the back side of the keyboard a bit more, and all of my other wireless keyboards have legs or some sort of height adjustment, but this one has nothing. The case is slightly taller on the backside, but it’s not adjustable. It has sharp edges, which is similar in design to my MBP, but can feel slightly rough. The mouse has a low profile, two buttons, and a very smooth roller wheel. I used a track pad and a Magic Trackpad for years, but I use a two button mouse when I work on a PC, and I’m grudgingly going to concede that a mouse is more efficient, particularly when working with data in Excel or a similar format, as well as selecting a lot of items when working with large numbers of files or items in a large window. Anyway, very smooth, and it feels much higher end than the price point would suggest.
5.0 out of 5 stars It was compatible with my iMac.
It worked. The setup was a breeze to setup. The lighted key board was nice, but can be turned off . The mouse took a bit longer set up because it has to be matched to the key board and it took some time to figure out. The sensitivity was over the moon in speed.
Between Pebble 2 and ProtoArc it's ProtoArc Hands down
The media could not be loaded. After a few hours of research I decided to purchase the pebble 2 mouse combo and needless to say I wasn’t impressed. Took a chance and ordered this ProtoArc one and it is perfect. Before the kiddos go back to school and I have to go back to work I wanted to set up the home office to be a bit more ergonomic. I have a MacPro and and iPad Pro. Switching between apps to using split screens is a pin in the arse so having multiple screens up and ready makes me more productive. The DetailsKeyboardIt is seamless switching between the two screens. Any lag, if there is one is not noticeable by me. I am just the average user, business owner with a hundred and one kids so efficiency and time are important. So is the cost which was $30.00 cheaper. The keys are little bit higher than the MacBook and a little harder to press. I actually like that because I type fast and when I travel to the next key I don't accidentally hit one I don't want. I am sure in time they will loosen up a bit from use and the mechanics of it. Build quality was as expected for the price. I am not complaining. Setup couldn't be easier approximately 1 min for both devices lol. I like it and I am going to return the other one.The MouseWhen I first started using it I was thinking holy crap this is super sensitive. One slight touch and my pointer was flying all over the place. So I opened up the instructions and that orange button on the top of it is a DPI (I was like wtf is a DPI switch? and had to google it). After I adjusted the DPI settings by pressing the button it more resembled the track pad I am used to. It's a basic mouse and gets the job done for me. The scroller roller works well but super sensitive. I think I just need to get used to that.Battery lifeI will up date this at a later time. It came from the box with a charge and I just started using it. Haven't go so far as to track time in real boring life use.OverallLove the keyboard. Mouse is ok but and I haven't used a mouse in 17 years so don't take my word for it on that one I have no comparisons. I'm a track pad kinda girl. I am going to get the travel folding keyboard that is how much I like.Enough said have a great day
really nice all around
the only complaint I have from this is, would be its compatibility with windows as well. But thats okay.Bluetooth works great otherwise and you can seperately switch between 3 options which is awesome. Battery saver mode is also great in the event you leave the keyboard forgetting to turn it off. backlit and sleeve are fantastic additions and make this worth the price.Final thing I am thankful for is its USB-C. No more batteries to buy. The charge I notice last not as long, but can last a few days use no problem
Very pleased
