i bough these for my nieces and nephews and i have them practice walking back and forth across them to help them with sensory. they like the way it feels as though they are getting a under the foot massage. the youngest one keeps taking them apart and throwing them over the playhouse balcony though, so there's that haha but other than that they are great.

I picked this set up for my daughter’s room. I found the mats to be highly detailed, colorful and well made. The textures are great sensory! They easily pieced together and look good. I do find them to be a little expensive but to get quality designs and textures it is a fair price with similar items. I do recommend these as they are well made, detailed and a good sensory tool.

Picked this up for my wife's friend who has a non-verbal ASD daughter that we help babysit from time-to-time. She's usually all over the house for the duration of the day but certain things will keep her in one place if they REALLY capture her attention. She loves making musical toys repeat the same line over and over, watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, rocking in a gaming rocker and rubbing her feet on these floor tiles. I know no two cases of ASD are the same, but these work for her. The construction is solid, and they've held up wonderfully to a 10-year-old girl rubbing her feet on them. I can't imagine how hard it has to be for these kids to communicate what is bothering them and anything that brings them a sense of security is worth the price.

These tiles are a neat idea. They were smaller and stiffer than I imagined, and weren't easy to lay straight. I think they will provide good sensory input, but they aren't something I plan to have out all of the time.

These floor mats worked well in my office. I could store them easily and set them up quickly for a client. The different textures worked well and kids liked them for a sensory experience.

I originally ordered these for my kids to see if they would like messing around with the textures. I guess I'll have to order them more because I have stolen them! I put 2 under my crafting desk, I like the purple spiky one and the yellow with the pinecones, to have something to mess with while I am working. I need my hands for leatherwork, so I have these at my feet. It's awesome! Once my kids return, I want to see if they enjoy them too and I'll get more.
3.0 out of 5 stars Colorful, but too firm and expensive
Love the colors and designs on these sensory tiles. Material is slightly flexible but unfortunately too firm for my kid. They are really too stiff for comfort. Maybe we'll use them with play-doh. Additionally, ours warped a little over a 3-4 day period; 2 of the tiles now have raised sections (they are not completely flat). Lastly, they had a slight odor on arrival, and are simply too expensive at $40 for 4 small tiles!

Overall these mats are good for children and people with flat feet like me. This helps me relieve stress from my feet. But I would highlight 2 cons: this is the price - I would like 2 pices more now considering the price. and the quality of these rugs is too harsh for me.
