5.0 out of 5 stars Clear Instructions
I found this to be very clear, concise and easy to use. I like that it’s made in America, too. I had taken a Pinnacle Biolabs at-home FIT test last year and was dissatisfied with the experience and found their device unreliable due to a positive and a negative side by side with each other, in addition to feeling cheaply made. This piece, in contrast, felt well-constructed.No replacement for a colonoscopy, as they say, but for less than a copay and if you’re in a lower risk demographic, this is a nice compromise. The risks of colonoscopies are seldom noted, but with a procedure complication death rate of 1/14,000, that would mean that if every single American got a colonoscopy, 25,000 people would die, which is frequent enough to be a remote possibility, so I’d like to avoid one unless I’m compelled to; a positive test here would have driven me to get one.One thing I did change here based on other reviews of weak collection paper was put that same paper over an empty steel cooking bowl, and squat down. Gross as it sounds, if the paper failed, the sample still would have been usable. It didn’t fail fortunately, so there was no mess, and I proceeded without issue.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well & does what it's suppose to.
Did it for routine colon test. Was having irregular bowel movements. Took this to be safe. Compared this to another brand. Both, luckily were negative.
4.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin
Works as advertised and is easier to use than the tests I got from my doctor. However, there are cheaper options that work just as well.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good
Good product easy to use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use. Might save you money
I found this test easy to use. If the collection paper doesn't work for you, you can improvise other ways to catch the sample. The important thing is not to mix the sample with urine or toilet water.I wish I had known about this test before I went to the doctor. It might be better for insurance purposes to take the test at home. If you then get a positive result, you (if 45 and older) can ask the doctor for a screening colonoscopy. If you take one of these FIT tests through the doctor and get a positive result, your colonoscopy might be labeled as diagnostic, which could cost you more money.
3.0 out of 5 stars I wouldn't recommend to a friend
I had a question about the time limits within which the test results should be read. (The limits for this test are 1-10 minutes, whereas for other tests the limits are 4-7.) I called the phone number on the instructions to ask a question about the time limits, and the call disconnected immediately. On the plus side, the instructions were otherwise clear, and the test was easy to use. But, as a result of the issue trying to contact customer service, I would not recommend this product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Accurate and easy to use
This test was very easy to use with clear instructions. It is also accurate. It turned positive even though there was no visible blood.

$20 peace of mind but no substitute for colonoscopy
