I really love the sound and quality of this guitar. I had my doubts when buying my guitar from Fender, because it said Student. Don't let the beginner description fool you. Fender is no beginner at making fine instruments and this guitar is quality for a great price. I have used my guitar on tour and at home. Lightweight, easy to handle and maneuver the neck. It has a beautiful finish and is made of natural wood. I am very happy with my purchase.

This unit is by far a fantastic bargain at this price. Looks great, plays shockingly easy, and sounds very full. I bought this to bang around w/ inside and out. At this price who cares if it gets knocked around some. Well I’m back out on the hunt for another cheapy cause this is too good a deal to abuse.

I polished it and justed the the thrust rod a little earlier to turn up or down for the first time it's very light 3 or 4 times lighter than my other guitar of about the same size very sturdy.base 6th strings is good

I do a lot of reviews for budget guitars, and decided it was about time to purchase one for my personal collection of guitars that I play. I was shocked to see a Fender at low budget prices. Thinking something was up, I placed my order thinking I would be getting a budget quality disaster to review on YouTube.When I received the guitar, I was pleasantly surprised. I gave it a quick tune and was immediately impressed. I gave it the setup runthrough. All of the frets were nice and smooth, shiny, and most importantly... level. The neck needed a minor adjustment, which is normal with acoustic guitars that have been shipped. There was really no set up to do. The build was nicely intonated, the tuners were holding the guitar in tune, and it had a very rich tone.I did change out of the factory strings and put on some Phosphor Bronze Earthwood strings and this guitar sounded amazing. So much so, that it replaced the Martin D-28 that sat on the stand next to me in my office as my "go to" guitar. This in not a purchase that you will regret.

Beautiful guitar, sounds great. Bought it for my son for Christmas this year, I open it up and they have a paper sticker on the plastic part of the guitar, and it’s not coming off well. Whoever’s idea this was is not very smart.

Thoroughly impressed! When I saw this I thought it wasn't for real. Fender is a name brand guitar and this one was $100?! I thought I would get a knock off, but this turned out to be a great guitar. 3/4 Size which is great for my 13 year old children with smaller hands and not the strongest fingers. Nylon strings feel good and the bridge height is comfortable. Not bleeding my fingers to push hard on high strings. I wish there was a knob for a shoulder strap on the top of the guitar. Only has one on the bottom. But not hard to take to a music store and add one. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase!

been playing for almost 30 years, this is a fun solid guitar especially for beginners but a joy to play and write songs on in my living room before i bring them to electric. the modern tapered c neck profile with nylon strings at 3/4 the scale, makes everything so easy on the hands. love it! at this price i may buy 10 more!!!

Good budget guitar
I had a guitar given to me to try as I first started learning and as I grew to like it I decided to buy my first one. As a brand new never picked up a guitar before type of player, I've been playing for a little over 2 months and this has served me well. Everything is tight and sturdy. Only thing I don't like which is a total preference thing is that the neck is actually pretty thick. I don't have the longest fingers and not much dexterity built into them yet for fluent chord changes so I found playing a guitar with a thinner neck easier so I can reach the chords that require a bit more stretching out with my fingers. If you're going to buy this as your first ever guitar I would say try and at least feel a few different ones in your hands to see what feels the most comfortable for you before buying it. This guitar has served me well for learning to stretch a bit more to hit certain chords but I'm at the stage now that I'll be buying something that I won't have to work as hard to use. With that said, great guitar I would recommend to others, have had my friends with much more experience and who also own many expensive guitars say that this is a nice unit for the price.
