This is made like a tank. It not only adds protection to your Pocket 3 but it adds so many ways to mount it. With the NATO rail and the multitude of places for 1/4" Arri locating pins on this thing, you are set for getting your Pocket 3 in any position you can imagine.It fits like a glove, with access to the USB C. It's weighty and makes the Pocket 3 feel more secure in your hand just by itself. I've used it to mount my Pocket 3 to a SmallRig rosette arm, to a magic arm, to a light, to so many things. I LOVE that NATO rail. Arri pins are so easy to use. You really can't go wrong with this purchase.

I immediately tried it out. I expected it to be a little lighter in heft, but it suits my needs as my aging hands need to know what they're holding. This bit of kit is just what I need to attach a side handle for extra stability and other attachments as needed. Before you ask, this particular attachment will not allow (at least I wouldn't use) the optional extended battery attachment. Again, my handling would have an issue with even that added weight. Perfect!

I’m really impressed with this mounting expander. It’s solidly built and feels very sturdy when attached. It fits perfectly, aligning just right with all the controls and the charging port, so there’s no need to worry about anything being obstructed.I also love the variety of attachment options it offers. Whether you want to add a light, mic, or any other accessory, there’s a spot for everything. Plus, having the extra grip makes it easier to hold the Osmo Pocket 3 securely, even when using it on its own. After getting a Pocket 3 recently, I was interested in accessories that would give me the ability to attach to various mounts. Specifically, I wanted something really sturdy that would work with a car magnet or suction mount. The security screw on this gives you peace of mind that the Pocket 3 is not going to come loose from the cage and you can easily rig your camera is just about any position with all the mounting options. Tilta makes quality gear and this cage is no exception--it's a very solid piece of equipment.

What can I say; I love Tilta products! This mounting expander is solid, and I do mean solid! I love the dual NATO rails on the sides. The angled top on the rails gives a nice fingerhold to help lock the camera into your hand for a solid and firm grip. The release button on your handle attachment is readily available, so it makes it super easy to access the SD-card with a simple button push.The mounting possibilities are vast with ¼-20 holes all over it. Each of those screw holes also has locking pin holes. I have one complaint as to the placement of all of these ¼-20 screw holes, none are centered on the camera from the front, so if you have it on a tripod or selfie stick, it’s offset to one side or the other, including the unbalanced weight. And let’s admit that we just added quite a bit of weight to this camera.The fit on the various attachments to the Pocket 3 inside the mounting expander is tight and secure. Silicone pads protect and help to secure whichever attachment you’re using. One slight bit of caution, though. I have a different brand (non-DJI) battery extender accessory handle, and it goes in too tight. Wasn’t sure I was going to get it out, but thanks to my “expertise” I was able to finally remove it. There is a “security screw” on the base to ensure it’s locked in tight. When the screw is tightened all the way down, it’s recessed from the base – excellent forethought and design.Bolo Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it for others? Absolutely recommend. But now, what am I going to do with my other clamp-on accessories for my Pocket 3?
