I'm really enjoying this kit so far and my daughter is enthralled by it. I'll let her choose what scientific activity we'll do and go from there. There are plenty to do too. Each one is fairly simply, others take a little more time to set-up. The cool part is the reusability or stages of a scientific project. The volcano, for example, has several different scientific activities tied to it. So it gets more than one use.The disappointment is in the instructions. Even for an adult they can be sometimes vague. Leaving you guessing if you were supposed to do it a certain way. Overall it's a good kit with a lot of fun for the kiddo.

The product itself was fine in terms of quality and the value was solid compared to other options. However due to the difficulty and lack of proper instructions - the functionality was a bit hindered and also, if you lose the instructions, good luck finding a PDF anywhere online as a back up.There were no missing items and the projects were fun which is why I'll give it an honest 3.Better instructions and publicly available instructions would make this a 4 easily!

This packs a lot of value right now with the current 50% coupon. There's so much to do that even if a child isn't interested in science, get this and see if it will at least stimulate some curiosity. If it's used only a few times, the attempt still didn't cost too much money, and you'd spend a lot more money and a lo of time to put all the pieces together yourself.Especially since this is geared toward younger children, this isn't anything like the old-fashioned chemistry set I was given when in this age range. The materials and ingredients are considerably safer in these times that we'd like to think have a more evolved sensibility. Yet with the beakers and test tubes, a child can feel like a scientist in the making.

This is a nifty kit that comes with alot of accessories. I like that most things you need are included. My daughter has had fun with it so far. I don't acctually know how many experiments you can do with what comes in the kit. And while it says over 85 experiments some of the experiments are so similair (like regular volcano and red volcano) that I don't really count that as two different experiments, more of variations of the same experiment.

My 9 and 11 year olds love this set. It comes with pretty much everything needed and has excellent directions.

I got this science kit for a guy I care for with Autism, he is higher functioning and loves doing stuff like this. We had a great deal of fun going through the science kit and picking and choosing which projects to start with. The instructions included are straightforward and simple to read. I like how each experiment has a list of products included, and a list of things you need to complete the science experiments. For the money, and the educational value of this science kit, I highly recommend!

Bought as a gift for my grandsons birthday. Hasn’t used it yet, but from the box, it looks impressive. I’m sure he will enjoy it.
