It’s small, it clips, it’s loud and the bass sounds really good!!! And battery last for quite a long time. A little pricey but well worth it.

This is a great portable Bluetooth speaker. It produces great sound with no distortion, even at high volume levels. The battery lasts throughout my eight-hour shift with no noticeable loss of power. In addition to great sound the clip defines a new level of convenience allowing me to clip it to my belt where it is safe and always travels with me. I appreciate the large, easy to use on/off and volume controls. One thing to note is that this is a monaural speaker and lacks the spatial quality of stereo sound. I don’t really notice because I use it at work where it is noisy but it is noticeable when played in a quiet environment.

Bought this specifically for the beach and to bring out into the water while floating. Have not tested the waterproof feature yet. Sound is fantastic for such a small speaker. Light weight, nice design, and clip is big enough to get around common back pack straps, belts, beach umbrella poles, etc. Uses new USBc charging port which is not the case on the clip3. Also has 12 hour battery vs 10 hour battery on the clip 3 and clip 4. Also compatible with JBL Portable App so you can adjuster EQ settings, pair multiple devices for stereo, and monitor real time battery status, etc.

This JBL Clip 5 is an amazing product. It's waterproof, durable, has simple connectivity to smartphones/tablets, and it has excellent sound quality and robust bass for such a small portable device. The clip feature is great, and our son can use it while riding his bike or scooter.

My husband's original clip was boosted from his job, so I purchased this one as a replacement. He loves it! The sound quality is vastly improved over the previous model, the clip clearance is wider and the beaner is stronger. I had a magnetic case for the last one, and will likely look at getting one later on for this so he can stick it up at any job he is working at. The bright color makes it hard to miss!

Very good small, ultra portable and very versatile speaker. Sound is very good for its size and works with the JBL Mobile app to control the equalizer. It will get loud for its size with clear JBL audio. Fair price and take it anywhere as it’s water proof and dust proof.

I work at UPS as a Tug driver and anyone who knows what that’s like knows how loud the engines in those things can get so having a speaker powerful enough to hear the music while driving in one is really nice. I have been using the JBL Clip 3 for a while and it worked well but wasn’t able to match or overpower the sound of the engine in my Tug. This speaker does exactly that and is a noticeable upgrade. It’s loud enough where I don’t need to turn it up all the way to hear it. The change to usb-c for the charging is greatly appreciated. The controls are the same but that’s not to say they were ever bad. The app has a few options for customization but nothing crazy. I think the worst thing about it is the massive JBL logo. The Clip 3 has a significantly smaller logo on it. Other than that I’d say it’s got a good bang for your buck.

Love that it has the hook to hang it on stuff while I work. The sound quality is very good and the battery life has been amazing. Extremely happy with what I paid for. Money well spent.

Did my research. Opted for this over the Clip 4. So glad I did!When I first started playing music through this I was grinning from ear to ear. Actual. Bass. On a small speaker. This is what we’ve wanted in a small Bluetooth speaker. After about 60% volume, you may not be able to have it near you! Music can get a little “crunchy” at 75% and up, but not distorted.Download the JBL Portable app for battery percentage and sound presets and adjustable EQ that stays where you set it. Waterproof to 3 feet deep, so use it in the shower or in the rain. Used it at 50% volume during a 4 hour golf game, and it was still at 100% battery.Not a party speaker, but loud enough for a backyard bbq and some fun.This is the one.

absolutely amazing product
I have a bigger Bose speaker, but its not wireless and sitting in my office. Sometimes I listen to Audible in the kitchen while cooking and on the long river walks near my house. But unless I absolutely need it, I don't like using air pods daily. So, I was looking for something portable and not expensive. I found this one on Youtube video and gave it a shot. Oh mine, I remember when I bought my first iPhone 1 in 2007. It was a dejavu moment when I got this speaker out of the Bolo envelope. It is so nicely made with so much attention to detail, absolutely perfect craftsmanship! It took me less than a minute to set it up and oh, the sound is just amazing! I am walking with it now for a few days in a row, listening to Bill Clinton's "My Life" and enjoy every minute I have this beautiful piece of art. If you are planning to buy it, do that. You will not regret it. Love it!
