Let me start out by saying my old vacuum cleaner is also a Eureka. Given my experience with that vacuum I expected this vacuum to be very good. My old one was heavier and corded. I wanted something lighter and cordless to keep up with my husband and child messes. Pretty much the only reason I wanted a new one and I also still have my old one in closet. I just used this vacuum for the first time this evening and it did amazing! I just quickly ran it over my rooms in the house and I couldn't believe the amount of dirt this vacuum pick up! It was easy to use and for me I was able to use it fully charged after 4 hours even though the book says 6 hours. I was concerned about hair with the vacuum as I lose a lot of hair due to hormone issues. It did get very tangled in the brush roller however, popping out the brush and cleaning it was a breeze. I had to do the same with my old vacuum. So far I am very impressed and this was a steal for the $100 I purchased it for. (was watching it for some time) The only thing I am weary about is the few reviews I've seen about charging issues. Hoping those are rare occurrences that won't happen to the one I purchased. Will update review if anything changes.

This vacuum is everything it's advertised to be, powerful, lightweight, cordless, affordable--and bonus--it's not as horribly noisy as the bigger ones. The noise is one of the reasons I despise vacuuming, and this powerful little cordless makes the process much faster--and you don't have to turn on all the lights to do it, because it's got a little headlight in front. Finally, I'll be vacuuming on a regular basis and not dreading the whole unwind, plug, lug, unplug, lug, unplug, lug, rewind, lug tedious process. It's also a real space-saver! I was a little worried it wouldn't be powerful enough to deal with cat hair, but it handled it every bit as well as any of the larger, noisier models I've ever owned. Highly recommend! Will post with updates if longevity/durability becomes an issue in this age of planned obsolescence in which any product that's affordable is designed to fall apart faster to force you to buy another. Fingers crossed!

DID NOT receive any compensation for the price or review. Good little vacuum, happy with purchase…. Would I buy it again…. Probably . 1 adult, 12 and 9 yo, 3 cats and a short hair dog. I have a 1700 square foot house, no carpeting, only hardwood and tile. Full charge can only do 1 floor. Good suction on baseboards, under baseboard heating and lies flat to go under several of my couches. Enough suction to pick up debris between on my tile floor that resembles cobblestone. What I really like about it is how light it is. It does a great on couches chairs, throw pillows and any other fabric surface that cats sit on. Attachments click on and off very quick and easy. Other reviews have said you have to go over the same place multiple times. I have not found that to be exactly my experience but I do have to make a complete sweep of the downstairs in each direction to get all the bits off the floor. I use this thing every day and the amount of hair and dust bunnies I pick up is very rewarding!

I owned 4 Dysons and still have three in semi-working condition. Bought additional filters for my cordless Dyson but feel it's time for a new one. Then we found this Eureka vacuum which is like a Dyson clone but at a fraction of the cost. We decide to give this old brand name a try, considering that as the technology advances, the gap between Dyson and Eureka would be reduced. We were not disappointed, it was lighter and slightly smaller than our previous Dyson (see pictures), yet looks like the bottleneck part of the tube size is slightly larger. The total wattage is smaller than Dyson but it lasts 2-3 times longer per charge. It also has a convenient wall mount but is much smaller in size. The only disadvantage is you need to plugin the charging port each time. The charging plug was conveniently attached to the wall mount so it's not a big deal (and I can see that if they had another option with higher cost passed to the buyer i world opt to save the money).
