Whole milk works best for the thickest froth. Nothing compares to that. Cleans easily and fairly quickly. Whisk came off the thing It’s connected to when it was in use. Was able to put it back on so far it has stayed back on. It comes with two so that was helpful.

I purchased this as a replacement, and holy cow it works better than the first one. It’s strong, easy to clean as long as you make sure you don’t get the bottom wet. It folds up beautifully, giving me a delicious cappuccino every morning It’s got a beautiful design and I would purchase it again.

I am lactose intolerant so going to a regular coffee shop I always have to get oat/soy/almond milk, which is totally fine. I prefer fair life milk because it has more protein and tastes just like regular milk! I use this thing everyday!! I love chai lattes and honey lattes. It’s such a decadent treat, so easily made at home!

I had one of these in the past that stopped working after a month. So I've waited 3 months before reviewing this one. The secret to success when using this frother is to use whole milk or cream that is COLD. I've used it with other drinks as well, like a premixed coffee and cream bottled drink from that worldwide coffee place we all know. DO NOT fill it above the max line or you will make a mess or not have the type of foam you want. It works on all four settings just fine. I like that it is not attached to the plugged in base, which makes it easy to pour and clean up. It is not dishwasher safe, but can be rinsed out and dried. Sometimes I add a little liquid dish soap but often just rinse it out with hot water and dry it with a paper towel. I've become creative with the types of drinks I make with this and really enjoy making them for my wife or guests. It's quick, easy and works well. You just have to make sure it is cooled off between uses in order for it to froth perfectly each time. It looks nice on my counter top and is easy to use due to the outside texture design. I've used it nearly daily for three months and now I'm spoiled and rarely go to that coffee place mentioned above.

Definitely read the scant instructions. You can’t heat the full amount AND froth it or it will overflow like crazy. Heat about 3/4-1cup (it stirs while it heats) then pour off half, then you can froth the remainder.Heat is very hot and froth is frothy, no complaints there. Bit of a learning curve but not bad.
