5.0 out of 5 stars Greatly exceeded expectations!
So, I grew up in the 90s back when pop tarts exploded on the scene. I cannot count how many I’ve had in my lifetime. Now that I’m older and trying to eat healthy I’ve transitioned to basically being keto. I saw these and was very intrigued. A little pricey for sure, but if they can satisfy a certain type of craving, then it would be worth it. This most definitely exceeded my expectations. I would agree that the frosting to breading ratio is not the same as normal a pop tart, but the breading itself is soft and has a gentle sweetness to it. Overall, I absolutely love these and would highly recommend for anyone, not just those who are trying to cut out carbs. Are they completely comparable to pop tarts? No, and if you were to eat this after that, then you might be disappointed. But otherwise they are still fantastic.
5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious
Have been try these pop tarts and this flavor might be one of the best . Have tried the cinnamon and it good , strawberry has ZERO flavor. This chocolate one is spot on !!!!
4.0 out of 5 stars never going to taste like a candy bar but....
very good for a protein bar. like a fluffy pop-tart. Chocolate are great. Blueberry not quite as good. Strawberry is pretty bad. 4, 3.5, 2 respectively. They all have a noticeable not pleasant after taste. I find just a couple spicy chips and some water cleanses this flavor...so maybe anything spicy. Overall I'll probably stick to chocolate.
1.0 out of 5 stars Thick tasteless dough with a small amount of "filling"
As for the nutrition facts, look great. We all know what they were replicating/ making healthy. But the best part of the PT, is the crispy outside with the owygoowy center. Instead of two thin pastys, with a better balance of bread to fillingThis product is one thick, cake like, weird smelling, unpleasant square. I think they could improve on it.As of now, NOT worth the money🚫
5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious!
The media could not be loaded. I broke it apart for you to see in the video.Open package, place on a plate, microwave for 10-15 seconds and you get a high protein, delicious snack! The texture is hard to describe, it doesn’t break easy, it’s more of a pull and tear apart, there are no crumbs because the texture isn’t dry and crumbly, it’s not moist either, it’s soft but not like a cake, see the video when I press my finger it snaps back up. It was pleasure to eat, very unique! The center is abundant with filling, (I break off the sides and dip it in the center). It’s not a sweet treat, if I closed my eyes I wouldn’t be able to tell it was chocolate, maybe because I’m used to eating junk filled sugar laden with sweet chocolate, but for someone like me who loves their chocolate this was a nice change and will make the transition from sugary treats to high protein treats much easier!I highly recommend these, and will buy them again!
3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, Pricey, Pop Tart
Odd but acceptable flavor. Price point is ridiculously high! $3.37/per pop tart! Even at half the price they would be expensive. I will not be ordering them again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Taste Great
These pastries are really delicious 😋.Soft and the layer of frosting is delicious also. Enough filling to not be too dry. Like eating a regular pop tart, but you only get one.
5.0 out of 5 stars Taste great and keeps fitness on target
Recently began getting back to the gym. These are great to kick off the morning and keep me full until lunch. I have tried all varieties and they all are great. They also serve as a nice late night snack when the sugar cravings kick in. However, Target has them for about $2 cheaper near me even with the subscribe and save.
Really good protein bars
They are sweet and taste like desert, you almost forget you're eating a protein bar. Kinda expensive, but totally worth it in my book. They have really giving me the boost I need on bike rides
Taste is hit-or-miss
Overall this is a good product like the ingredients and the protein however one of my kids does not like the flavor the other does so that part's gonna have to be trial-and-error. I find them to be quite pricey though so it's not a regular staple.
Taste like crap
I was so happy to find nice snacks full of protein and low carbs.I took a big bite but instead of enjoying it, I felt like I was going to vomit. The taste is bad and the texture is soft but sticky and not smooth. Also, it’s very thick and only one per package instead of two small like the original pastryI just threw them out even if it’s expensive.
Chemical taste
Not a huge fan, ate the case but I had to be pretty desperate for sweets and it took a couple bites before I got used to the taste.
Pretty bad
Some protein products are so good. These are not one of them. Especially for how expensive- I would skip these.
