5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good!
Video game graphics look great on it and it's really is much nicer looking on the wall than a traditional TV. I wasn't sure if it would be worth the price, but we got it on a deal for prime day and I honestly couldn't be happier. Was able to download some pretty art so I didn't have to pay for the Samsung subscription! That subscription is a rip off. I made a 1 time purchase on Etsy for a large collection of Google quality digital images to download and it was only $12 compared to the $20 monthly subscription.
5.0 out of 5 stars Major upgrade from the old Frame versions
I have three other Frame TVs from the prior generation and got this to have a slightly larger one in the living room. It is thinner and the picture and settings are much better than the older versions. Filmmaker Mode is very handy to avoid always have to mess with settings to get UHD movies just right. It sets the TV how it was intended to look for UHD streaming movies that have the setting enabled. That is great. The new matte coating on the screen is really effective in rooms with lots of glare. It really helps with not only the realism of art mode, but also with watching TV at angles. All in all, this is a great TV.Adding your own photos to Art Mode is now much faster and more reliable than the old system. But keep your app updated!Drawbacks: 1) Not sure if the new remote is backwards compatible. If not, that would stink because with several other Frames, it is nice to have remotes you can use on any TV once paired. 2) The new UI is not as intuitive and requires extra steps to do basic things. You can see that the underlying software is the same, it just is a little more confusing now.All in all, if you are looking for a Frame, this is great. If you are looking to upgrade an old Frame, this is worth it.
1.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced garbage
Always wanted one of these but having one realize why it isn't as popular as a tv. It just looks like a normal TV, not much matte effect aside from just lowering the brightness. Features are terrible. The media box built outside of the TV is poor design. One basic feature of changing the picture size is greyed out for no reason at all. The slideshow mode for images looks terrible even though this is literally 'The Frame' Remote has 3 buttons dedicated to streaming yet not to the main reasons this tv exists like controlling artwork on the screen.Worst of all the normal TV border looks like any other TV border, and the ones that make it look like an actual frame cost 300+ dollars, this product is basically a scam
4.0 out of 5 stars Love it but it’s not perfect
According to my research this Tv is your best bet if you want to an tv that looks like it’s a piece of artwork, not just a screen displaying a piece of art. I’ve literally had people in my house shocked to learn it was actually a tv hanging above our mantle. I’ve heard of being having difficulty getting the tv set up but I found it to be very easy and quick. I bought it for the artwork so I subscribed to the Samsung art store, but FYI you do have to pay about $50/year to get access to their art store. I was bummed to learn this as the TV costs so much to begin with but I believe it’s been worth it. The art store itself could be improved, you can’t search for specific pieces, you just have to browse the categories they produce. The tv quality: the picture has been good, not complaints. The Volume gets glitchy though! I think that’s my biggest complaint. We will watch something and the volume goes up really high and then dips back down, as if someone accidentally sat on the remote and pressed volume up. I hope this is a glitch they figure out.
5.0 out of 5 stars So Far So Good
Ordered this from Walt's Tv. Excellent vendor and service. They shipped the tv next day and arrived on time. Had the unit professionally installed. Used the included Flush Mount which makes the unit look and feel more like real artwork. It's only been a couple of days and I wish Bolo would send these reviews after 30-60 days for a more accurate review. But, overall, setup was extremely easy and intuitive. Finding "free" artwork takes time and they really want you to subscribe to the annual package but there are free items available. Seems impossible to add your own artwork. Is in a well-lit room with direct sunlight and can view perfectly from all angles. Whatever issues there were in previous year models seems to be corrected in the 2024 version.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing. Best purchase for home ..ever.
Perhaps bad reviews are older models? This 65" Frame TV is gorgeous in all the ways you hope it will be. This is also quite a technical marvel. Perhaps there were issues in the past, but after just one week, I can say with confidence that IF you're into visual arts, and you don't mind the $49/yr Art Store sub, this TV is a MUST. You will be blown away.In most lighting conditions, it's hard to distinguish from a museum hung piece. In total darkness, its obvious that, although breathtaking, its back lit. Still stunning, mind you.The collections available via the Art Store are fantastic. Van Gogh's heavy brush strokes look totally real in many of his works. Now, I've also loaded about 300 images from the 40K on my iPhone! And now, i'm looking forward to taking (horizontal orientated) pics that might be 'Frame worthy' additions.Get a pro (if you're not one) to install and hide the wire. And above all, GET A BEZEL. Ours came with a teak bezel and I can't even explain the improvement over the black edge of the TV. Truly, it completes the show. Finally, the youtube TV programming and all the streaming services look SO GOOD. Fantastic job Samsung designers.
Realmente se ve como un cuadro
Tiene la función de arte que puede proyectar varias obras de arte, con un costo adicional pero es una función que se ve muy real
Great product.
Easy to install and looks great but very expensive price for plastic finish product .
Easily attaches to the Frame TV
The Brown Bezel easily attaches and provides a completed feel to the Frame TV. The brown bezel works with our aesthetic better than other colours available. The bezel is made of plastic that make it feel a bit cheap, but it does what it is meant to do. If you are DIYer you could probably make something a little more grand, but you'd have to figure in your time/effort plus ease of construction & attachment. The bezel currently attaches with what I assume are magnets embedded in the plastic construction.Overall I like the simplicity of the bezel as the picture itself that you have downloaded, is the attraction piece.
Frame TV add on frame
It’s so wonderful and looks amazing! I’d say that the frames you can add on are not 100%, corners don’t match 100% and I wish they did as this is quite the show piece.
Plastic frame very flimsy
For the amount of money it was very cheap
