This retinol serum is fantastic. It’s very hydrating, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling. After using it for a while, I’ve noticed a definite brightening effect around my eyes.

I’ve been really enjoying this serum. I can have somewhat sensitive skin and I easily break out when trying new products on my skin but I haven’t had that issue with this at all. It feels very gentle on my skin. It also smells really nice. I wouldn’t say it’s a strong scent but it’s nice and clean. It does however contain fragrance which I try to stay away from but considering it hasn’t irritated my skin at all I’m okay with it. It absorbs very quickly and makes my skin feel nice. I’ll have to update as far as long term effects go for significant improvements but for now I enjoy how this serum makes my skin look and feel.

Compared to similar retinol-containing products on the market, this serum works just as effectively. After washing my face and applying a toner, I only need to apply a small amount from the tube to t completely cover my face and neck with a thin layer of serum that lasts all night. It is not sticky, but it doesn’t just sink into my skin, so I definitely can feel it if I touch my face. After using it for several weeks, my skin feels smoothly and brighter.

The Medicube Deep Reviving Retinol Serum comes in a thin brown tube and comes out as a partially clear. The scent is fresh but mild and goes away quickly after application. The serum is full of moisture and absorbs quickly. After using the serum for a few days have noticed some positive change in my undereye area. I would recommend this serum to help reduce fine lines.

I've been using this with my skincare routine at night for a little bit now. I followed the recommendation to start off with every other day to make sure my skin is adjusting to it. And like the instructions say, grain size is all you need for your target spots. I'd say 2 grains can help cover the whole face if that's what you need. But I've been doing it under my eyes, my smile lines, and the sides where I have uneven skin. I can see a difference in my under eye spots and slightly in my smile lines. I just started using this everyday so I know it'll work faster compared to every other day. Korean beauty products are the absolute best products for your face! It's a bit pricey for the size tube you get, but the amount you use, will help this last longer than you'd think it would last.

First of all this serum comes in a slender tube instead of a dropper bottle. Some care is needed when dispensing the product to avoid squeezing out too much at a time. I used this sparingly and only on the problem skin areas on my face. After a couple nights of use, I can see some tightening and improvement. The scent is light and smells nice, and the consistency is like products made with snail mucin. A little goes a long way, and it absorbs quickly.

I’m careful with retinol products. Some can be too strong and make my skin look too pale and translucent. That’s not the case with this serum. It dispenses from a squeeze tube, so I have to be careful not to dispense too much. Thankfully, it’s easy to dispense one large drop at a time. Two large drops is usually sufficient to cover my entire face and neck. The serum is lightweight but has enough body to not feel watered down. It doesn’t irritate my face at all and isn’t overly aggressive like some retinol products. I already established a baseline with prior products, so I wasn’t looking for improvement but rather maintenance. This serum fit right into my routine and helps keep fine lines and over pigmented uneven regions at bay. The tube is rather smallish, but considering I only use a couple drops each time, it should last for a sufficient period of time. There isn’t a strong scent with the product. I can barely detect any scent at all. It also plays nice with various moisturizers applied afterward.
