My son just got the 31-8 bat for 11u and used it in a tournament that same week. He loves it. Balls bounce of the bat hard & far with the huge barrel sweet spot and loves the tapered handle. Great new design & well worth it!

My 11 year old grandson swung hit and the bat broke. If you buy this bat through Bolo or any other store Axe will not warranty the bat. Wish I would’ve known. Bat was purchased in July 2024.

This is our first axe bat purchase. My son is 7 and he's been using the 27in hype fire and we were looking to add another bat so he could switch between the two. He's in love with this one. We couldn't get the 27 in the axe bat sadly so we moved to the 28 which is the same weight and drop as his hype fire. So far so good. It came just in time for him to use it in his top gun tournament and he loved using it.

Don’t waste your money the hype is not real. It’s a great looking bat but even after break in the bad is full of dead spots. Had the bat for less then a month. Also the handle only allows to hit on the same side of the barrel so durability and longevity will be compromised.

I will give it a ten all day And looking forward to buying the next you back from Axe.. And the ball just pops off that bat. Also when my grandson is hitting to opposite side of field . The quality of the bat is awesome .

The bat has pop out of the box. I learned the hard way, you may get it faster through Bolo but if you have an issue after 25 days (one SINGLE 9U tournament), you are stuck with a $350 dead bad. My son is 9 years old and was the only one to use it and it sounds like rubber hitting a baseball now.

Standard axe handle for gap hitters. Drop 10 is very very balanced, drop 8 has some end load for bigger hitters. No break in needed on this two piece composite barrell. This bat is hot out of the wrapper and has some serious trampoline effect going on. Trade off though is its not the most durable. TIP: Game it only, and definitely don't hit a lot of cage balls with the AP3. Get an Axe Strato aluminum bat for your cage and tee work, and have the Strato available as your back up gamer. Axe's youth wood composite bat is also a great option for cage and BP work. Very durable bats for heavy use and training.

We bought this bat for a birthday gift and within two at bats, it irreparably cracked. For this expensive of a bat, we are incredibly angry and disappointed.
