5.0 out of 5 stars Inverted Tripod legs!
The design is so good. The inverted leg design makes it small and TALL. The balance is great and the hook on the bottom for stability is genius.Multiple ways to attach and adjust the camera or video. The mono pod feature is really handy too.Light weight but sturdy. This is the BEST OF ALL THE TRIPODS I have owned, and I have owned dozens over the years.
5.0 out of 5 stars I like to this.
This is really very good made product and looks great. By My order was missing some parts in the box and Box was already open and use. Manual also in very rough condition.Seller and service likely 5 star and i have face no issue.
3.0 out of 5 stars No es una calidad buena
No era lo que pensé que era, es mas un tripode para principiante, la seguridad de las patas se ve floja. Es mejor pagar más para una mejor calidad.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
I love it. The case is awesome.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value in a stable tripod
For the price, this tripod is hard to beat. It is sturdy and stable and extends to a height useful for even very tall photographers. The materials and build quality are very good, except for one thing noted below. It seems very versatile, with enough included accessories to use it from a smart-phone camera up to a large DSLR mounted on a large telephoto lens.I will note that the one feature on the tripod that seems less sturdy is the plastic toggle clamps used to secure the tripod leg sections. These have not broken on me, and they may last fine, but these seem like they may be the weakest link. Only time will tell. The camera will mount an Arca Swiss stile plate (2 included, and it works with others like the one built-in to my telephoto lens), and either a 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 UNC thread commonly found on cameras and tripod heads. It has a monopole mode if one leg is removed, and the head installed on the leg. It also has the ability to snap into very low-mount positions for macro photography, though I did not attempt mounting it upside down for very low-mount (it has the ability, I just did not try it out). There is an included handle that may be used if desired. I do not use it as the tripod will not fold back up neatly if the handle is installed. Without the handle installed, the whole tripod folds neatly and fits in the padded carry bag.Overall, I recommend this tripod for amateur photographers and semi-professional photographers on a budget. If you really get into photography, you will want to own a few tripods and this one will surely benefit your equipment collection.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 4-pound Joilcan tripod with handle for video
I purchased a Joilcan just like this back in 2022 -- it looked as tall and solid as I could find for an easily carried tripod. I liked it so much that I soon bought another four for my lab to use for computational photography work. All still work and are arguably the best reasonably lightweight (4 pound) tripods I've used. The ONLY difference between the older ones and this one is that this one includes a metal handle for video panning. It didn't even have the price go up.Tripods are one of those things that can have cost vary over a couple of orders of magnitude. I'm not saying this is as good as some of the $1000 ones, but it is good enough that you'd have to spend more than 2X the price of this to see an improvement like carbon fiber bringing the weight under 3 pounds. This has a good ball head and Arca-compatible mount, which most modestly-priced tripods don't. It also is absolutely trustworthy to do things like holding my fairly heavy Sony A7RV + Tamron 150-500mm steady at a height above my head.In sum, this is an easy 5/5 stars and strongly recommended.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good for a lower-end tripod
The rubber cap on one of the feet keeps popping off. And the tightening bolt for the ball is acting up a month in. I did anticipate some issues with that when I purchased it, though, because in my experience these ball-type tripods don’t hold up well to regular use. It’s serving the purpose and working well for the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Tripod
I've been wanting to get a smaller tripod for my quick trips and this is the one. Not only a tripod but a monopod. It's smooth when panning left to right but when going up and down you need skills :). Not a deal breaker though, it has rubber or spike feet. You can shoot either portrait or landscape. It is very lightweight and will save you space. it also has a hook where you can attach a small sling bag or similar. For this price, this is a solid tripod for traveling or quick shoots.
