This is a good quality brush. Very soft synthetic bristles. The metal collar is attached securely — no wobbling. The bristle end of the brush is not very large. It’s the size of a quarter (see photo for scale.) I have been using foundation brushes for several years now and have tried different sizes and shapes. I prefer larger and denser foundation brushes that get the job done quick. That said, I gave this a good test run. Test 1: Liquid foundation, medium coverage. The small size made it hard to get even coverage. Too time consuming for me.Test 2: Skin tint foundation, light coverage. Good! The brush is medium density and the looseness of the bristles turned into an advantage with the skin tint formula. Feathered it only where I needed coverage. Great brush for watery, sheer formulas! Test 3: Concealer. Worked very well to feather out spot concealer.Test 4: Putty Blush. I love E.L.F. Putty Blush. This Heicom kabuki brush is the perfect size to dip into those small jars of blush! The brush is a little smaller than the jar, so the bristles don’t bend. And compared to the E.L.F. putty blush and contour brushes they make? The Heicom brush wins hands-down. Dense enough to pick up product; loose enough to blur it out perfectly, no streaking.Bottom line: I love this brush, not for foundation, but YES for putty blush!

This brush is super soft and thick, and seems to be very well made. It's a bit larger than I was expecting, but that's a good thing; I've been using it to apply my foundation and it does a great job. It has good coverage and doesn't soak up too much of my product. I'm pretty hard on my brushes and I have yet to see any hairs fall out, so that's a good sign. Overall, I'm really happy with this Kabuki brush!

I've only used one Kabuki Style Foundation Brush several years ago.I forgot how much I like them and how smoothly and evenly foundation goes on.It has an angled flat top which helps with applying and blending liquid foundation.The bristles are soft also which makes applying even more nice. I like the shape of the handle as well.I've ordered make up brushes that look soft and they are coarse.Cleaning is easy whether use soap and water or make up brush cleaner. The bristles haven't shed either.

There is not much to say other than this is an excellent brush. I like the angle and the softness of the bristles. It works fantastic. Very happy with this purchase.

Other reviewers have left photos of the brush in hand, and you can see how small the top is, as well as how the bristles are packed. It is kabuki style and it does have fairly dense bristles, but if you use a kabuki to apply your foundation already you know it needs MORE bristles and, for me, more surface area.Where this brush shines, for me, is applying and diffusing cream liquid blushes. :)

I think I have finally found my new travel foundation brush. This brush is a decently well made kabuki style flat top brush. The length is shorter than my other brushes which will make it the prefect addition to my travel makeup bag as it fits better than my other brushes in my carrying case. The bristles are synthetic and I haven't had issues with them falling out so far. the white top bristles are very soft and it applies makeup evenly.

I apply makeup daily either tinted SPF, liquid foundation, or foundation stick. The foundation brush I have by BH cosmetics is more dome shaped and a little bigger and that works better for me. I thought the Hiecom brush was smaller and too flat for my preference. Looking at other brushes I own (and don’t use), this is very similar to the Elf Powder brush, which is also flat but slightly bigger, and $3 cheaper at $6, compared to Hiecom at $9,99.

This brush is a very terrific value! Looks and feels like a name brand and blends out my foundation and concealer beautifully! The bristles are packed close together to where you don't lose a ton of product in the brush which i love, it's so soft on your skin it literally feels like you're using a cloud to blend your makeup! So far I've had no issues with shedding, even after washing with soap and warm water. Definitely worth it and I'll be getting more from this brand!
